New scares and haunted houses will be waiting for you Fall 2025 at Universal Studios Florida
Universal Orlando has announced the dates for Halloween Horror Nights 34, which will take place on select nights from August 29 to November 2, 2025.
While full details are still under wraps, we can expect haunted houses, scare zones, live music, and the opportunity to enjoy some of Universal Studios' top attractions with minimal wait times. In previous years, popular rides like Revenge of the Mummy stayed open all night, allowing guests to experience Brendan Fraser and the Mummy between scares.
Oh, and this might also be one of your last chances to ride Rip Ride Rockit, as it’s expected to be open during the first few weeks of the event. The ride is scheduled to permanently close in Universal Studios Florida sometime in September to make way for something new in 2026.
Halloween Horror Nights is often regarded as the best halloween event in a theme park in the world, and receives multiple accolades every year. In 2024, we had some new haunted houses, including one based in The Last of Us.
What’s in store for 2025? My idea is to have a new house based on Fallout, and make it look like a post-apocalyptic bunker. Fallout was just turned into a very successful (and good) TV Series by amazon, and the games are fun to play to this day. I’d love to enter a bunker and get scared by Super Mutants, Deathclaws and all kinds of weird monstrosities.
Prices for this special event have yet to be revealed, but you can expect to pay around $80 in early September. Prices may rise to about $130 in mid-October and near Halloween. If you're looking to experience some great scares with shorter wait times, consider visiting in September. It's also one of the best times to enjoy Universal Orlando and Disney World.
