Cruises, theme parks, beach resorts… 2025 has it all for those who love an unforgettable vacation!
New year, new destinations ahead! And in 2025, we have more travel options than ever before, whether you're considering theme parks, beach resorts, or cruises.
Seriously, for the first time in ages, we’re seeing the debut of a brand-new theme park, a record number of new cruise ships launching, and Beaches Resorts opening its fourth-ever location by the end of the year.
There’s something for everyone, whether you're a fan of roller coasters, stage shows in the middle of the Atlantic, or simply relaxing by the beach with a Cosmopolitan in hand.
Here are some of the top destinations for travellers in 2025.
Epic Universe

You saw this one coming, right? Epic Universe might just be THE travel destination of 2025. For starters, it’s located in Florida, close to Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, Walt Disney World, and Legoland. Families visiting the area will have a huge range of entertainment options, with enough to fill several weeks without ever getting bored.
The real star of the show is, of course, Universal’s brand-new theme park, opening on May 22, 2025. This will be the first major theme park to debut in Florida since Islands of Adventure opened in 1999. Epic Universe will feature entirely new lands, rides, shows, restaurants, and even a hotel located inside the park. It’s one of the most highly anticipated destinations of the year and is sure to be a major highlight of 2025.
Star of the Seas

Icon of the Seas was voted the best cruise of 2024 by several publications, and in 2025, Star of the Seas will aim to repeat that success. As the sister ship to Icon of the Seas, this means one thing: another massive ship is on the way. Star of the Seas is set to debut in August 2025 and promises even more dining options than Icon of the Seas.
The two ships will be very similar, but we expect some smart upgrades. Star of the Seas will be based in Port Canaveral, Florida, and will focus on 7-night Caribbean cruises. If you loved Icon of the Seas, you’re bound to love this vessel.
And the best part about getting Star of the Seas this year? More options for experiencing a mega-resort at sea, and it will likely make sailings on Icon of the Seas more affordable. We can’t wait for this one!
Beaches Exuma
Here at Famvia, we love Beaches Resorts, not just for their all-inclusive luxury, but also for their amazing staff and incredible water parks the whole family can enjoy. While details about this new resort are still limited, we do know one thing: it’s located in Exuma! Surprising, right?
That’s fantastic news, as Exuma continues to attract more tourists each year with its stunning beaches and perfect weather. Plus, Beaches Exuma will be just 15 minutes from the airport, making travel even more convenient. The resort will also be located next to a golf course, and we expect it to feature new rooms and restaurants that debuted with the most recent Sandals Resorts.
Beaches Turks & Caicos was a huge success for Beaches Resorts, and Beaches Exuma looks poised to follow in its footsteps.
