Here's the spot to take your family on your next Disney trip
Maybe it's the pool, maybe it’s the view, or maybe it's sipping drinks at Trader Sam’s with you.
While that might be directed towards my wife, this article was written specifically for you, Dad. By the end of our time together, you’ll be writing sweet poems, too. Get ready to surprise the whole family with your vacation planning. Even your mother-in-law (who we totally love, btw) will be giving you props.
Why? Because it’s going to tell you that clearly…
Disney’s Polynesian Resort is the PERFECT place to take the family on your next Disney trip.
Some Dads would… book it and let everyone else figure out the fun.
Not us, though. We have Jedi-level insight into why we do things. The more fun options my kids have, the more fun we all have together. The happier my crew is, the happier I am. If your family is like mine, memory-filled vacations really strengthen our bonds. I get to focus only on the needs of my wife and kids—the most important people in my life.
I’m here to make you look like a stud while booking your next trip.
So… "You’re welcome".
Helping you (Way)find your way to victory
Disney's Polynesian Resort sits right in the heart of the Magic Kingdom. The vibe set throughout chilled my kids out the moment they walked in. Imagine what it will do after a long, stress-free (thanks, Famvia) park day. From the dual-pool (rhymes) situation to the amazing, wide-spread view of the Seven Seas Lagoon, this place is packed with things for the family to enjoy without breaking the bank….again.
Worth noting, the food at this resort is EXCELLENT. There are quality options whether you’re ordering counter service or sitting for dinner with a fireworks view from O’Hana. The purpose of this article is to point out all the things that are included with your resort stay. With money being a common stressor for families, this writer wants to encourage you to spend time connecting with your family…not spending MORE money to do that.
The MVP of the trip was the Lava Pool. This is one of two pools at the resort; we’ll call it the “lively” one. It’s set below a volcano that doubles as a slide within an enclosed area only accessible by resort guests. The fantastically titled Kiki Tiki’s Splash Play Area is a great place to let your kids explore safely. The different bridges, water-sprayers, and slides make this space great for kids to live their best lives. There is a slide that is great for kids around 3 and under. At the top of the Kiki Tiki’s Splash Area is a fully enclosed two-three story slide that is safe for kids and fun for adults. This slide makes this kid’s area better than most, in this Dad’s opinion.
The Lava Pool and Oasis Pool (the quieter pool) have access to a bar and food service. The team is always ready to serve their guests. When I’m on vacation, relaxing by a pool, I want to be served. That helps me feel like I’m on a restful trip. Both pools help keep this vibe alive!
Pools, great views and so much more
After the pool, I’d head to Trader Sam’s Tiki Terrace because it’s….everything. You can really dial into the Polynesian theme here. With great views of the Seven Seas Lagoon and the boats, it's a great place to enjoy food, a drink, and a live ukulele from 3-11. It is worth noting this is the outdoor Trader Sam’s location. The indoor one is just on the other side of the wall and is a great spot for a happy hour/pre-dinner or nightcap.
The truth is, this article could be sooooo much longer if I hit on all the highlights. Disney’s Polynesian Resort is that good. This resort has many unique touches that can enhance your family vacation with budget-supportive amenities. You’ll never go wrong staying here, but you can make your vacation sooooo much better if you plan it right. Let’s connect and make your next vacation stress-free.
Hit me up, and I’d be happy to help blow your family’s mind about what DAD planned.
