Mickey has trained some excellent nurses
When traveling with young kids - and even some of us grown kids - we tend to pack a lot of “what-ifs”. What am I talking about? I’m talking about those bandages, Tylenol, ointments, and so on. But what happens when you forget that “what-if” first aid kit in the room while rushing out for rope drop? No worries! There’s no need to go back to your room to pick up these items. Rest assured knowing that Disney has you covered.
In each of the theme parks, nurses are available to assist with over-the-counter medications like Tylenol for headaches and fevers, bandages for those owies, and ice packs, just to name a few items.
What about more serious issues? Those are covered too! We experienced one ourselves, and there’s no need to worry - if the First Aid station can’t assist, Disney nurses will refer you to AdventHealth Centra Care Urgent Care.
In our case, my son had his hands in his pockets, missed the curb on Main Street, U.S.A., and fell, landing hard on his chin. It was a rough scene, and the nurses at Magic Kingdom’s First Aid confirmed he’d need stitches. So, off we went.
Now, what if you don’t have a car on property? No need for a taxi or rideshare. Disney provides complimentary transportation for Walt Disney World Resort Guests. The First Aid centers or your Resort Front Desk can make these arrangements for you.
Do you know where the First Aid stations are located? Below are the locations within the four main theme parks. Rest assured, there are also First Aid stations at both Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon and Disney’s Blizzard Beach water parks.
Magic Kingdom
At the end of Main Street, U.S.A., on the left between Casey’s Corner and The Crystal Palace. Restrooms and the Baby Care Center are also located here.
Hollywood Studios
Located just inside the park entrance to the left, across from the Crossroads of the World gift shop.
EPCOT
Located on the walkway between Test Track and the Mexico Pavilion. Restrooms and the Baby Care Center are also available here.
Animal Kingdom
Located on Discovery Island, before the bridge to Africa, next to Creature Comforts. The Baby Care Center is also located here.
