A.k.a. How to make a Goddess proud
MSC Euribia is the evolution of the Meraviglia class, which began back in 2017. Six years later, it remains a strong and popular class, with many improvements that are clearly reflected in MSC Euribia.
This ship is definitely a step up from Grandiosa and comes close to matching the experience offered by World Class ships like World Europa and World America. MSC Euribia introduces smart upgrades to the Meraviglia design, features LNG propulsion to reduce environmental impact, and is well worth your time and attention if you’re planning a multi-generational vacation with your family.
What we like about MSC Euribia

This is a beautiful ship, continuing the tradition of stunning Meraviglia-class vessels that began in 2017 with MSC Meraviglia. Euribia is named after the Greek goddess who mastered the elements of the sea, much like Poseidon, and she would be proud to walk through these elegant hallways.
The Galleria Euribia is a standout space, similar to the Royal Promenade found on some Royal Caribbean ships. It is a massive area that makes you feel like you’ve stepped into a luxury cruise ship or even a corner of Las Vegas, complete with what MSC calls the “longest LED ceiling at sea.” The Galleria features all the specialty restaurants, plenty of bars, lots of shopping options, and is simply a beautiful place to stroll through each day. I’d say, yes, this is the most beautiful Galleria in the Meraviglia class, with an LED ceiling that feels more inviting and colorful than ever.
Another great spot is the Carousel Lounge. It offers exclusive, paid shows that cost around 15 euros per guest, but also functions as an open lounge and bar. The venue has evolved a lot since its debut on MSC Meraviglia, where it was a small theater mostly used for acrobatic performances. Now, it is a much larger space with a more upscale atmosphere, and the acrobatics have been replaced by small-scale Broadway-style shows and talented singers. It is definitely one of the highlights of the ship, even if the shows come at an extra cost.
There is plenty to enjoy for both children and adults. Kids can have fun at the Ocean Cay Aquapark, which features multiple slides and splash zones, as well as an arcade, bowling alley, F1 simulator and an excellent Kids Club that includes a partnership with LEGO. There are also five pools onboard, all of them well-designed. The main swimming pool is surprisingly large for a cruise ship and is surrounded by two whirlpools. Kids have access to their own exclusive pool, and the same goes for Yacht Club members.
What we don’t like about MSC Euribia

This is a great ship that is perfect for families and comes at a reasonable price - a four-night Mediterranean cruise starts at $450, which is a steal. However, it is also a ship that can get very crowded. Thankfully, the indoor spaces are slightly larger compared to traditional Meraviglia ships, but there are still a lot of guests onboard. Lines at the buffet can get long, and grabbing a coffee early in the morning can feel like a bit of a journey.
There are also quite a few paid extras not included in your cruise fare. The Carousel Lounge is free to enter, but you need to pay if you want to see one of the performances there. The arcade also requires payment, as do the F1 simulator, flight simulator, bowling and other activities. Thankfully, the kids club is free, so no worries… your kids won’t have to pay extra to play with LEGO.
Conclusion
MSC Euribia is awesome. It’s a ship with a great message about protecting our oceans, it looks beautiful, and offers some pretty cool entertainment options for both kids and adults. It’s definitely a return to form for the Meraviglia class ships after MSC stumbled a bit with MSC Grandiosa. If you’re looking for an amazing, affordable European cruise that’s fun for the whole family, look no further.
