Set to embark on its inaugural journey on December 11, 2026, the MSC World Asia is a massive 215,863-gross ton vessel that is actually still under construction. Interestingly, despite its name, the ship will be making its first voyages in the Mediterranean rather than its namesake region.
During the winter of 2026-27 and the summer of 2027, MSC World Asia will sail mainly in Europe, with destinations including Barcelona, Marseille, Rome and Genoa.

MSC's “World” fleet is rapidly expanding, with MSC World Europa being the first of this new series, offering features similar to the mega-resorts on ships from Royal Caribbean and Carnival Cruise Line.
