Sandals South Coast is great for guests of all budgets. It offers some of the most affordable Sandals rooms, with prices starting at just $200 per night, per guest. However, it also features Overwater Villas, which are essentially small, cozy cottages on the ocean, costing about $1,800 per guest, per night.
There are also brand-new Club Level rooms with swim-up pools, built in the past year, starting at $370 per night. As you can see, this resort is perfect for guests of all budgets seeking a romantic and quiet place to relax and get a nice tan.

Now, let’s take a look at the starting prices for a couple spending one week at Sandals South Coast. Of course, prices fluctuate significantly throughout the year, but this overview can help you identify the most affordable months as well as the peak season. This table reflects 2025 prices and was researched at the end of 2024, providing useful insights into the cheapest and most expensive times to visit.
Prices are highest in January and March, but they start to decrease in April 2025. June and July are great months to travel to Jamaica, offering some amazing deals. Keep in mind that these rooms are not the newest ones introduced in 2023, but the updated accommodations shouldn’t cost much more than what is listed above… unless we’re talking about the Overwater Butler Villas. These rooms can be quite expensive, and even in December 2025, one of these villas can cost up to $25000 for a week.
Room Levels
Sandals Luxury
- Good for: you are on a budget; you don’t plan to spend a lot of time in your room.
- Price range: typically starting from $200 per guest/per night.
The name might be a bit misleading, as Sandals Luxury is actually the budget option at the resort. There are only two Sandals Luxury room categories at South Coast, with prices starting at either $200 or $220 per guest, per night. The best option might be the “Starlight Beachfront Luxury Room w/ Balcony Tranquility Soaking Tub,” since, as the name implies, it comes with a soaking tub, perfect for a romantic bath like those seen in Game of Thrones.
Both rooms are located in the central area of the resort, near the tennis court, and never far from anything. These rooms are very affordable, but keep in mind they haven’t undergone any recent renovations. Still, for such good prices, they get the job done.
Club Sandals
- Good for: you want a bit more luxury, you like the concierge perks offered, you want to stay in a new room at Sandals South Coast.
- Price range: typically starting from $240 per guest/per night.
The mid-term rooms for Sandals South Coast, which is actually quite luxurious. These rooms give you access to the Concierge perks, which include:
The Concierge Lounge: think of this one like those fancy airport lounges for first-class passengers. You get access to a place to relax, drink coffee, have a beer, and just enjoy your time. You can also check-in here and be directed to your room by a dedicated staff member.
Plush bathrobes: now you can feel all cozy when leaving the shower.
Special In-room bar: you have access to soda, wine, beer, juice, water, liqueur and can request specific alcoholic beverages.

These are some of my favorite rooms at Sandals South Coast, with prices that fit nearly every budget. There are ten different Club Sandals rooms at this resort, with prices ranging from $240 to $370 per guest, per night.
Two of these rooms are brand new and should definitely be on your radar: the “Long Beach Beachfront Club Level Suite w/ Balcony Tranquility Soaking Tub,” starting at $330 per guest, per night; and the “Long Beach Beachfront Swim-up Club Level Suite w/ Patio Tranquility Soaking Tub,” starting at $370 per guest, per night.
Some Club Sandals rooms offer swim-up pools, which are semi-private pools that resemble a beautiful lagoon serving a few buildings (pictured above). If I’m considering Sandals South Coast, I’m probably looking at these rooms, as they are brand new, luxurious, and come with a lot of amenities that elevate romantic moments to new heights.
Butler Elite Suites
- Good for: you want luxury; you want someone to make reservations for you and bring meals to your room; you don’t mind paying more for top-tier quality rooms; you want to stay in one of the luxurious Overwater Villas.
- Price range: typically starting from $370 per guest/per night.
This is it, this is for guests that want top-mega-ultra luxury and enjoy their vacation at the fullest. The Butler Elite package offers a plethora of perks. You'll enjoy specialized room service and have a dedicated butler at your service, handling reservations, delivering breakfast to your bed, scheduling appointments, and much more. Some Butler Suites also offer swim-up pools that serve 2-3 rooms only, and some rooms come with a private pool for you only.

Ultimately, it all depends on your personal preferences, budget, and how much you intend to utilize the services of your butler.
Butler Elite suites are a very good option if you manage to book early to save some money. Some of these suites come with full living rooms and have a private swimming pool right outside their door, giving guests more luxury and privacy. Your personal bar is stocked with premium liqueurs and sparkling wines, and your butler can accommodate most alcoholic beverage requests.
Sandals South Coast offers 8 different Butler Elite Suites, with prices that vary significantly. Keep in mind that most of the Butler Suites are located on the western side of the resort, in a quieter and more secluded area - great for a romantic moment, sure, but not as close to most restaurants.
The most affordable option is a brand new accommodation called the “Long Beach Beachfront One Bedroom Butler Suite w/ Balcony Tranquility Soaking Tub,” with starting prices of $370 per guest, per night. Looking for luxury, a private butler, and a fresh, new room? You can’t go wrong with this one, even if it doesn’t have a swim-up pool.
Another great, luxurious room option is the Rondoval Suites at Sandals South Coast (pictured above). Look how charming these buildings are! These suites come with both a private pool and a swim-up pool, with prices starting at $540 per guest, per night. They’re an amazing choice if you want to experience paradise but spend a little less than staying at the Villas, which we’ll talk about next.
Yep, Sandals South Coast is also home to the exclusive “Blue Mahoe Overwater Butler Villa.” These are essentially small, cozy cottages situated right in the middle of the ocean. They rank among the best rooms at any Sandals resort. Just look at the picture above… can you imagine staying in a place like this?
Sure, the Overwater Villas aren’t close to most restaurants or even the main pools, but considering you’re in a small mansion in the middle of the ocean, with a private butler who can bring you any meal, I don’t think you’ll mind being far from the restaurants or any other activities. You’ll be too busy relaxing and getting a nice tan. The only downside is that this room can be rather expensive, starting at $1800 per night, per guest.
This is also the only room in the entire resort that offers a personal airport greeting and expedited immigration. You also get private transfers to and from the airport in a chauffeur-driven luxury car.
