One of our most beloved theme parks in Florida gets filled with a festive and extravagant spring season each year, and it's not different in 2024.
But first things first, what is Mardi Gras and why is it so famous in Orlando?
Well, this is a famous celebration that takes place on Lent (a religious season), and is well known for the numerous parades, incredible costumes, masks, and upbeat live music (also food is a key point during this time) that creates the perfect ambiance for an unforgettable party time.
It's a little bit like the famous Carnival in many Latin American countries, known for the amazing costumes and joy taking over the streets. There is live music almost all day, people dancing and just having fun. When you put something like this and add the amazing atmosphere of a theme park, you just know that the end result will be good, right?
Universal couldn’t miss out on making its own version of this well-known season, and that’s why they came up with a family-friendly version with a great amount of fun and surprises that lasts all month long.
What can we expect?
When visiting Universal Mardi Gras: International Flavorious of Carnaval, get ready to show your dance moves and taste a great deal of delicious food from around the globe.
From spicy and mouthwatering dishes to sweet options, even just a couple of chilaquiles will make your taste buds throw a party of their own.
There are also live concerts and numerous parades that make this celebration a one of a kind. Surely, fun and excitement won’t be missed at any moment of the day or night.
