Skull Island: Reign of Kong
There is a wonderful way to immerse in Kong’s world. Located at Universal’s Islands of Aventure, there is a dimensional experience that will test out your courage and skills when facing the many surprises that this mysterious island has in store for you.
The Experience
From the moment you enter the queue, what may immediately capture your attention are the prehistoric and ancient ruins that adorn the walls. It truly feels like you have arrived on an enigmatic island filled with challenges and dangerous secrets.
Your adventure starts right there in the queue, where you can spot several skulls (more than 800 around the attraction) which are a result of the prehistoric and dangerous creatures that inhabit the place. It looks like Kong has been busy collecting his trophies!
Once you pass through the line, you will get to the expedition base where a designated vehicle will be waiting for you, and this means your adventure is ready to start.
Do I get to say Hi to King Kong?
Yes, and not only King Kong, but his other “friends” will be there too and could make you scream out loud (they appear around you at any moment during the ride). But relax, there is no chance to meet a T-Rex there too, right?
When guests are already inside the vehicles and heading to the final destination, they may spot several dangerous creatures from the movies. The ride ends on a high note with a major fight between two heavyweights, King Kong versus that beautiful creature below. Oh yeah, you are in the middle of it, by the way.
