If you felt worried about missing the iconic Hogwarts Express at the end of December, don’t worry! This magical train was just taking a brief break for a refurbishment.
Even in the Wizarding World, trains like the Hogwarts Express occasionally need a little help that go beyong the words of a magical spell. You can finally relax, as the Hogwarts Express has resumed its journey, just in time for Christmas.

The Hogwarts Express said “See you soon” on December 10th for refurbishment, with the magical touch up scheduled to conclude on December 16th, 2023. The grand reopening spectacle was expected on December 17th, so since yesterday this train is BACK!

You don’t know about this attraction?
For those in the dark, the Hogwarts Express connects King's Cross Station in the London area of Universal Studios Florida and Hogsmeade Station in Universal’s Islands of Adventure. But that's not all, because before embarking on your journey, you can immerse yourself in the magic of Platform 9 ¾, just like Harry Potter and his illustrious friends.

And don't forget to look out the window during your travels, you never know what magic sights await you out there!
To get aboard the Hogwarts Express, you'll need a Park-To-Park Ticket since the train runs between both magical lands of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter.
If you are planning a visit to Universal Orlando, you can relax because this magical attraction will be there waiting for you. We are also here waiting for you to contact us if you need an extra hand to get to Universal! Send us a message and we will make sure to help you out in any way we can. See ya!
