By visiting the most enchanted land of all: The Wizarding World of Harry Potter! A place where wands, butterbeers, dangerous creatures and a multi-billion dollar IP can be found in almost every turn.
Wingardium Leviosa, let me fly to fun times
The magical world of Harry Potter, where he and his friends embark on daring adventures to save everyone (except Voldermort), always welcomes new friends eager to lend a hand (or wand) whenever the park is open. What better way to assist them than by exploring the great attractions that make up this incredible world?
First, we have two lands that can be found at Universal and that are connected by a magical train. Yep, we are talking about the Hogwarts Express. Diagon Alley is located in Universal Studios Florida, and Hogsmeade is in the Island of Adventures. The train connects both parks, but you need a park-to-park ticket to use it. Yes, even Harry Potter had a special Universal ticket with him when he boarded this train in the movies.
Today, let's shine a spotlight on Diagon Alley! While some visitors may think there aren't many places or attractions to explore, this magical locale within Universal Studios Florida offers a plethora of fun experiences. It's the perfect place to immerse yourself in the wizarding vibes of the Harry Potter universe, and maybe buy your very own robe and interactive wand.
Are there any attractions at Diagon Alley?
Yes! There is only one major ride in the land, BUT there are other attractions that are fun to try and will surely be worth a thousand pics. The places you can spot here are simply magical. So let’s unveil them, and do not let the fun times stop during your visit.
Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts
This exhilarating ride offers a thrilling experience where, if you look up, you'll spot the fiery breath of a roaring dragon, casting a thousand flames from above. It's an awe-inspiring sight that makes you feel as though the dragon is about to take flight right before your eyes.
As guests enter the ride, they'll embark on an underground adventure where our beloved trio - Hermione, Harry, and Ron -urgently need your help to escape (once again) from the clutches of the dark forces. Prepare to encounter a variety of creatures, including trolls, Bellatrix, and even the formidable Voldemort himself. It's a thrilling journey filled with danger and excitement at every turn!
This is a very fun mix of a dark ride and a roller coaster, which reminds me of Revenge of the Mummy, another great attraction at Universal. Queue times tend to be on the high side, so get here very early in the morning or late afternoon. We are talking about regular queue times ranging from 40 to 70 minutes.
Hogwarts Express: King's Cross Station
This isn't just any ordinary mode of transportation, it's a magical journey between parks! Experience the fun and convenience of traveling from one adventure to another at Universal Studios Florida via the King's Cross Station, London.
Immerse yourself in the authentic atmosphere straight out of the movies, with photo opportunities at every turn. It's an unforgettable experience that adds an extra touch of magic to your day at the park! Just remember that you need a park-to-park ticket to board the train, or they Wingardium Leviosa you away.
