Since 2009 when the first Avatar movie was released it managed to steal our hearts, and the hearts of many fans worldwide. Disney is known for having the most popular and remarkable attraction in its parks, so Avatar couldn’t be the exception.
For more than 5 years, Disney has had one of the most impressive worlds just waiting for guests. Pandora: The World of Avatar is an area in Animal Kingdom where guests can immerse in an unique experience and learn so much about this fictional world, you will feel like a true Na’vi!

Get your own Banshee at Disney
Yes, visitors can get to fly their own Banshee in Pandora, while exploring the wonderful alien landscape envisioned by director James Cameron. This is possible thanks to impressive 3D technology that will take you closer than ever to the iconic floating mountains.
However, there is no need to wait until riding the simulator to start getting lost in this unique universe. From the moment you enter the queue you will be able to enjoy two themed shows that are quite impressive. It feels like a Pandora museum where you can appreciate many experiments and learn curious facts about this incredible world.
Entering the room where guests get to ride the Banshees (which is some kind of futuristic bike) can be an exciting experience. However, some young guests may feel a little bit scared and may want to go back to the real world. Na'vis are really tall guys and all blue, so they might look a little bit weird for some children!
Is the ride too thrilling?
This ride is thrilling and exciting, but it's not scary, at least for all the adrenaline seekers. The 3D technology makes it feel a little bit too real sometimes, so some people might let out a brief scream. By the end of it, you will feel like a brave and true Na’vi hunter, which is awesome.
This looks great
Everything in this world feels incredibly real, especially the decorations, they’re massive and allow you to connect so much with this civilization both inside and outside. Take a look, it truly is impressive, a total visual delight that transports you to a colorful, alien world.
