Disney World’s 2024 Weekend Wait Times are here!
We are sad that the Holidays are gone, but this is a new beginning for adventures at Disney, and every year we are not the only ones who love to go there and have fun. Yeah, lots of people from all over the world love Mickey just as much as we do. We now have a list of the wait times at your favorite spots at Disney World during the first weekend of 2024.
Magic Kingdom
The most classic theme park didn't have huge waiting times, impressive!
9 AM-10 AM:
- Barnstormer featuring the Great Goofini: 5 minutes
- Big Thunder Mountain Railroad: 5 minutes
- Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin: 5 minutes
- (and many more rides with 5-15 minutes wait times)
- Seven Dwarfs Mine Train: 45 minutes
These rides will be closed down temporarily and we don’t know when they are coming back:
- Astro Orbiter: Closed
- Enchanted Tales with Belle: Closed
11 AM:
- The waiting times are still on the low end
- Jingle Cruise: 50 minutes
- Peter Pan’s Flight: 60 minutes
12 PM:
- (wait times gradually increase)
- Space Mountain: 55 minutes
- Seven Dwarfs Mine Train: 70 minutes
1 PM:
- Pirates of the Caribbean: 20 minutes
- Big Thunder Mountain Railroad: 30 minutes
- Haunted Mansion: 40 minutes
- Peter Pan’s Flight: 70 minutes
2 PM:
Rides are getting more and more crowded.
Seven Dwarfs Mine Train: 80 minutes
Disney’s Animal Kingdom
">
8 AM - 7 PM:
While in Animal Kingdom wait times remain relatively low, there is one that catches our eye. Of course, we are talking about
Avatar Flight of Passage, which hits 140 minutes of WAIT TIME! Would you wait to fly around Pandora?
Disney’s Hollywood Studios
9 AM - 9 PM:
This is another one that waiting times were a bit out of control. The champion of waiting in line was Slinky Dog Dash, which reached a peak of 155 minutes! Everyone loves that beautiful dog. Well, that's the best family coaster in Disney World, so it makes sense that it's very popular.
We can say that some attractions at Disney World experienced manageable wait times, while others saw significant peaks, especially in the afternoon and evening.
Our best advice? Wake up early and try to enjoy the most attractions you can and then rest in the afternoon. You can also plan accordingly and use tools like Disney's Genie+ to optimize your theme park experience.
Send us a message, and let us plan out your next trip to the Happiest Place on Earth! We will do our best to give you a good time and the vacation of your dreams. Unlike Slinky Dog Dash, you won't have to wait more than two hours for our reply, we promise you that.
