What is Room Service on a Cruise?

During a cruise, room service allows you to order food and beverages directly to your stateroom. It's a hassle-free option when you want a relaxed morning with breakfast in bed, a ROMANTIC dinner on your balcony, or late-night snacks after an evening of entertainment. After placing an order, a crew member will deliver food and drinks to your cabin door!

Well, every cruise line has its unique menu. Cruise ship room service generally includes a variety of options such as soups, salads, sandwiches, pizza, burgers, steak, chicken tenders, wings, and pasta.

Beverages like coffee, tea, milk, lemonade, juice, soda, and alcoholic drinks are also available. Continental breakfast, usually free, consists of basic items like cold cereals, toast, bagels, muffins, fruit, and yogurt.

How to Order Room Service on a Cruise?

Ordering room service on a cruise is so easy and typically done via the telephone in your cabin

Most cruise lines provide a dedicated number connecting you directly to the room service department. Some modern cruise lines also allow ordering through stateroom TVs or smartphone apps. For breakfast, advance orders are often required through a door hanger menu left outside your cabin the night before.
