Without a doubt, the Happiest Place on Earth always comes up with great ideas, execution, and surprises. That’s why we’re always looking forward to what they’re cooking from time to time.
Now, Disney has announced that there’ll be a massive revamp in Disney’s Animal Kingdom! In fact, Disney teased some awesome details about it.
Encanto, Zootopia, Indy and more are coming!
At this year's Destination D23, Disney teased a possible Indiana Jones retheme for the Dinosaur ride, as well as Coco and Encanto themes for other areas of what is now Dinoland U.S.A.

They, in fact, even have concept art to show us:

According to Disney Parks, Experiences, and Products Chairperson Josh D’Amaro, the concept art is not a final piece yet, but it shows where the focus is now as the team moves toward this huge change. So, there’s still a possibility that we won’t be able to see Indiana Jones, Coco, or Encanto coming if things change in the future. Fingers crossed!
A big investment is on the way
"We've got so many stories to tell; we have so many things we want to make even better in the theme parks. My plan is to continue to share that with the guests. I know people are like, 'My gosh, I can't believe he's saying this. Is he serious, is he not?' The answer is, we are absolutely serious," D’amaro added.
"We know what this business is capable of, we know what our fans expect of us, and we're going all in. You're going to see more and more of that. As we make our way through some of these ideas, some of them will become real, and we'll say that's specifically what we're going to do, but I want our guests to be on the journey with us," D’amaro explained.
Well, we know Disney Parks, both American and foreign, are very serious with their construction plans for their guests to have a great time and make their trip unforgettable. Either way, we are all very excited, and we look forward to Disney’s final decision on the newest Animal Kingdom’s expansion.
