The Holiday Season is the perfect time for parties, events, and shows to pop up in almost every single place around the globe. I think we can all agree that Disney is not an exception, and takes the merit of being the best party and event host of all, right?
Christmas is in its prime!
Since early November, we have seen in each of Disney World theme park how the hints of Fall and Christmas Season started to take over the different shows and rides. Now that we have entered the Christmas Season, Disney has fully unleashed the festive atmosphere with their creative decorations, delightful themed-snacks and the nonstop shows and new events.
To celebrate Disney’s 100th anniversary, the company announced a while ago an upcoming nighttime show, which made its first debut last night, December 5th, 2023 at EPCOT, how exciting!
Excuse me, what is this show about?
Glad you asked! The show is called Luminous - The Symphony of Us, and it’s a collective display of lighting effects, numerous fountains spilling jets of water, colorful lasers, iconic Disney music and, of course, lots and lots of fireworks.
Did you know...
An interesting fact that may surprise visitors at the showtime is that many of the songs are performed in different languages and brand new songs are played as well. This may have caught lots of guests off guard, with some of them simply do not understanding the songs, but that's just part of the show.

This new show is not the only NEW addition to EPCOT this Holiday Season. There are plenty of new shows and activities that will make your experience even better, from the new Walt the Dreamer statue to the World Celebration Gardens and the Glowing Sidewalk with the amazing light shows, which are even coordinated to play together with Spaceship Earth!
