At Walt Disney World, the long queues are part of the magic! While Lightning Lanes are a popular way to skip lines, we think there are some queues that are TOO GOOD to miss. Yep, sometimes a good queue is a whole new attraction in itself.
Here are our top eight queues you shouldn't skip (except when you NEED TO!):
1. Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh
The interactive queue is a hit with kids, offering games and fun. While it can be chaotic, experiencing it during Early Entry or late evening is a good compromise.
2. Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance
The standby queue sets the stage with an amazing twist that takes you from a starfighter all the way to an Imperial base. If you can visit during Early Entry or late evening, the queue adds to the experience.
3. Haunted Mansion
The interactive queue, though controversial, provides a unique experience. It's worth seeing for its neat gags, interactive features, and lore, adding to the attraction's backstory.
4. Toy Story Midway Mania
Mr. Potato Head steals the show in the standby line, interacting and cracking jokes. While the standby line can get long, mid-morning or early evening offers a perfect time to experience it.
5. Peter Pan’s Flight
The interactive queue adds magic with a scavenger hunt and enchanting details. Thank god the queue is good since Peter Pan's Flight is almost always a 70 min waiting line, huh?
6. Under the Sea Journey of the Little Mermaid
The queue features stunning details of Prince Eric’s castle and the grotto. Even with a short wait, the interactive queue is a must-see.
7. Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind
Cosmic Rewind: The Wonders of Xandar exhibit is skipped in the Lightning Lane. The gallery is filled with nods to Disney, EPCOT, and the Guardians of the Galaxy movies, making the line SO WORTHY.
8. Avatar Flight of Passage
The longest queue in Disney World offers remarkable attention to detail. The Lightning Lane skips most of it, but the queue is a visual feast worth experiencing at least once.
Remember, queues are part of the Disney experience, and some are worth your time, so on your next visit to Disney, take into consideration not skipping these ones! ...or you can just bring your phone to play some games, that's fine too.
Make sure to send us a message not only to share your favorite queues, but ask everything you want related to Disney. We can also set up your magical trip to the Happiest Place on Earth! Contact us an we will take it from there, scout's word.
