At this time, Cruise Critic editors recognized Carnival's remarkable feat in successfully rebranding Carnival Venezia for the U.S. market. Originally designed for the Chinese market with a strong Italian theme, the refurbishment seamlessly transformed the ship into a vessel that embodies "Carnival Fun, Italian Style." 

The redesign incorporated Italian elements, including frescoes, statues, marble accents, and Italian twists to Carnival favorites. Bellissimo!
