We feel this little girl is part of our family too. We have been paying attention to all the progress that went through integrating this ship into the Carnival fleet, and our emotions have been building up little by little. Finally, the long wait is coming to an end.
Carnival Firenze was being nestled by the dear sister cruise line Costa Cruises, and now it has been handed to Carnival Cruises. This special moment happened when cruise staff reunited at the bridge to officially transfer ownership of this major project and make Firenze a part of Carnival Cruises.
Now, if we include Carnival Firenze, Carnival’s Fleet has grown to 27 ships, but the work does not end here.
Carnival’s crew has two months of full work dedicated to ensuring the most emblematic highlights that the company is known for in every ship, but with a spark of the Italian style.
We cannot wait for the official sail
Surely, Carnival’s team will create a masterpiece of a Fun Italian ship that will allow guests to create remarkable memories when traveling across the high seas.
Save the date already, because on April 25th, 2024, Carnival Firenze will set sail from Long Beach (California) and the voyage options look too good to be true.
Yes, Mexico is on the radar. From Mexican Rivera and Cabo San Lucas, visits to Puerto Vallarta, and even Catalina Island are included in many of the sailing options.
