Fancy dining options typically fit this description. Guests sit down and order their food à la carte, similar to a traditional restaurant. Many places that offer Italian and French cuisine follow this style. Some restaurants offer buffets throughout the day, while others transition from buffet to a traditional à la carte style in the evening.
What do you wear to dinner in Sandals Barbados and Sandals Royal Barbados?

The Bombay Club is definitely one of the best restaurants in Sandals Barbados, especially if you are a fan of spicy food. Some fan favorites include the land chop starter and the Chicken Dhaba Curry. There is also a tomato soup that is rather good! Most guests online also seem to agree that this is one of the best restaurants on property, fighting for the gold medal with the Greenhouse. Online reviews on Reddit, TripAdvisor and specialized forums are great for this one.
Greenhouse

The Greenhouse is one of the newest restaurants at Sandals Royal Barbados, having launched in 2022. It’s also one of the best. The dishes here are different from what you usually find at a beach resort, as the restaurant focuses on a healthy lifestyle, with food sourced directly from local farms. There are plenty of vegan options too! A definite fan favorite is the Portobello Mushroom. Keep in mind that you will need a reservation for this restaurant.
Soy Sushi Bar

Soy is about traditional sushi, while the other Japanese restaurant - Kimonos - offers a Teppanyaki cooking style with a chef cooking your meal right in front of your eyes. Sit down, relax, and order all the sushi you want! The sushi is pretty good and there are many options, and you can even ask the chefs for their signature rolls and they will surprise you with something even tastier! If you aren’t a big fan of raw fish, they also have many cooked options with shrimp and fish, like the crispy spicy tuna. Crispy sushi is also very good!
Chi Asian Fusion

Chi is all about relaxation and focusing on your inner life force - yep, that’s what 'Chi' means, Google it! As for the Chi restaurant, it offers a Chinese dinner in a great and romantic atmosphere that everyone can enjoy. Portions tend to be small, so be sure to order multiple appetizers. Some fan favorites include the hamachi, Kung Pao Chicken, and bao buns.
Butch’s
- Type: Resort evening attire, steakhouse, reservation required, sit-down, dinner.
- Hours: 5:30pm-9:30pm
We are including Butch’s Steak & Seafood at Sandals Royal Barbados and Butch’s Chophouse at Sandals Barbados. Both restaurants are quite similar, with the same operating hours. You’ll need to dress fancy and make a reservation at both. The main difference is a slight variation in the menu, though it’s nothing major. Dishes include steak options, veal, chicken, and fresh seafood. Signature dishes feature the classic Angus New York strip steak, pan-seared swordfish steak, and grilled lamb chops.
Neptune’s

- Hours: 11am-4pm; 6pm-9pm

If anyone knows a thing or two about the ocean, it’s Neptune, also known as Poseidon. This restaurant exudes the charm of a casual bistro and is open for lunch and dinner. One advantage of Neptune's is that it tends to be less crowded than some of the more popular options. The menu offers an impressive variety of choices, including bruschettas, Mahi Mahi, grilled swordfish, and Seafood Tagine. One of the highlights of Neptune’s is its location right by the beach, providing a great view of the ocean while you enjoy your meal. I’d certainly recommend Neptune’s for lunch, while you might consider trying the other options for dinner.
