Sandals Ochi has a staggering amount of 16 restaurants, all of which are complimentary for guests. From hamburgers to pizza, pasta, steaks, seafood, tapas and beyond, the culinary offerings are diverse and extensive. Whether you prefer quick-service, à la carte, or buffet-style dining, there's something to satisfy every guest.
Is the food good? Sure. Most reviews online also agree with me, and say that it’s above average for a beach resort like this. Now, is the food amazing like you’d expect from a five star French restaurant? Nah. I also don’t think this will ever happen in a beach resort, since they have to make a lot of food in a short amount of time for thousands of guests. For such a difficult challenge, they’ve done quite well.
At the time of this writing, four restaurants at Sandals Ochi require reservations. Make sure to book your spot as soon as you arrive, or ask your butler to do it for you if you are staying in a Butler Elite suite.

Dining Types to Sandals Ochi
You can find a lot of different options in Sandals Ochi. Love French Cuisine and something that looks charming and elegant? Try Le Gourmand. How about Seafood? Neptune’s is a classic restaurant that exists in several Sandals and Beaches Resorts and offers great views. There are options for pizza and even a place for you to eat tapas next to the beach.

You just need to order your food at a counter, grab it, and you’re good to go. Casual restaurants and food trucks often follow this style. These spots are perfect for a quick bite, offering items like tacos, hamburgers, pizza, and fries.
Sit-Down restaurants & Buffet
Fancy dining options typically fit this description. Guests sit down and order their food à la carte, similar to a traditional restaurant. Many places that offer Italian and French cuisine follow this style. Some restaurants offer buffets throughout the day, while others transition from buffet to a traditional à la carte style in the evening.
What do you wear to dinner in Sandals Ochi?
Many guests often wonder what to wear when going out for dinner. “Do I need to dress all fancy? Do I need a beautiful dress or the tuxedo I last wore to my high school prom?” Relax, friends.
As of 2024, only two restaurants at Sandals Ochi require Resort Evening Attire, which normally means jeans, long or short sleeve dress shirts, and dress shoes. These restaurants are:

- Valentino’s
All other restaurants only require Resort Casual attire, meaning you just need shorts, a t-shirt, and slippers to enjoy your meal.

This is a rather common question that we see being asked on forums and reddit. No, Sandals Ochi does not serve caviar. Keep in mind that this is an entry level Sandals Resort. It isn't bad by any means, but you won't find some of the fanciest food in the world there.
The Best restaurants at Sandals Ochi
Le Gourmand

Le Gourmand is often considered the best restaurant at Sandals Ochi, for reasons that might surprise you. You know what people love? The breakfast. Guests online in forums and all over Reddit agree it's the best breakfast at Sandals Ochi, even though it's à la carte and orders can take a while. Try the rum cream with your coffee, chocolate banana French toast, and eggs Benedict.
Dinner also receives excellent reviews, especially since it's the most charming and upscale restaurant in the entire resort. Dinner offers a variety of delicious choices, including classic French onion soup, roasted duck breast, and sautéed shrimp. Make sure to make a reservation as soon as you arrive and don’t forget to pack a nice outfit to experience this place!
Kelly’s Dockside

Kelly’s Dockside is another restaurant at Sandals Ochi that requires a reservation, and the reason is pretty simple: this restaurant is located on top of a deck! This means you can have dinner in the middle of the ocean, with the sea surrounding you and the sea breeze adding to the romantic atmosphere. Kelly’s tends to get really good reviews online not only for its location, though. The quality of the food is great, and guests love the jerk lollipops. They also offer delicious dishes like Seafood Alfredo, Charred Filet Mignon, and more. Go there.
Soy Sushi Bar

Soy is about traditional sushi, while the other Japanese restaurant - Kimonos - offers a Teppanyaki cooking style with a chef cooking your meal right in front of your eyes. Sit down, relax, and order all the sushi you want! The sushi is pretty good and there are many options, and you can even ask the chefs for their signature rolls and they will surprise you with something even tastier! If you aren’t a big fan of raw fish, they also have many cooked options with shrimp and fish, like the crispy spicy tuna. Crispy sushi is also very good!
Quick-Service restaurants at Sandals Ochi
Bella Napoli Pizzeria
Type: Resort casual, beachside area, pizza, sit-down/quick-service, lunch.
This pizzeria, open until 6pm, is located on “the edge” of the resort and next to the Riviera pool. It specializes in - you guessed it - pizza! Pizza fits perfectly with the idea of a great beach vacation. Enjoy the view of the waterpark and swimming pools while eating as much pizza as you want. They offer unique options like Jamaican Jerk Chicken pizza and sweet flavors like chocolate and banana. You can either sit down and order a whole pizza, which may take a bit of time, or you can grab a slice and continue with your day.
Tapas on the Riviera
Type: Resort casual, beachside area, tapas/comfort food, quick-service, lunch, late night.
This is one of the most unique restaurants at Sandals, and one of the few where you can enjoy authentic tapas. I would recommend coming here just to try them out if you've never had them before. The main perk of Tapas on the Riviera is that it's open for lunch, but it's also open from 10:30 pm all the way to 5 am! If you're feeling hungry after a night out and want something to eat, you can stop by for jerk chicken, beef burgers, or the popular chicken drumsticks.
Dino’s Pizzeria
Type: Resort casual, hillside area, pizza, quick-service, lunch.
Located near the Great House Village on the hillside area, this is a nice option if you are craving pizza and nothing else. The pizza at Sandals Ochi doesn’t usually get very good reviews and the order can take a while. Sometimes, guests wait about one hour for their pizza, so make sure to plan ahead. The good news is that there are over 10 options of pizza, including a chocolate and banana pizza that can be really addicting. Dino’s is only open until 6pm, so if you are feeling pizza in the evening you can box a few slices and take it to your room.
Jerk Shack
Type: Resort casual, hillside area, caribbean cuisine, quick-service, lunch.
According to Sandals Ochi, “with open-air seating and a rustic vibe, the Jerk Shack serves up authentic jerk with all the traditional accompaniments.” Sounds good… and spicy as well. Which is also good, right? The Jerk Shack is located near the main pool in the hillside area, so you can have the true Jamaican experience of eating jerk chicken while enjoying a nice breeze.
Great House Café
Type: Resort casual, hillside area, comfort food, quick-service, lunch, late night.
You come to the Great House Café for one simple reason: there's an emergency. The emergency? It's 3 am, you're wandering around, and your stomach is crying out for food. The Great House Café is open for lunch, sure, but it's also open at night from 10 pm to 6 am! Yes, you can finally fulfill your dream of devouring beef burgers, quesadillas, and hot dogs while watching the sun rise. How do you sleep after that with a belly full of meat? I have no idea.
Sit-Down & Buffet restaurants at Sandals Ochi
Kimonos

Kimonos stands out as one of the most popular and renowned restaurants at Sandals and Beaches Resorts. It offers a Teppanyaki cooking style experience, where skilled chefs perform impressive tricks as they prepare delicious meals on a flat surface grill right in front of you. The food usually gets very good reviews and the entire experience is well worth it, since it’s not every day you will have a chef cooking your food right in front of your eyes. Keep in mind that this is one of the rare restaurants in Sandals Ochi where you need to make a reservation. Kimonos is located right next to Soy Sushi Bar, so it’s easier than ever for you to choose your favorite Japanese restaurant at Sandals Ochi.
Neptune’s
Type: Resort casual, beachside area, seafood, sit-down, dinner.
If anyone knows a thing or two about the ocean, it’s Neptune, also known as Poseidon. This restaurant exudes the charm of a casual bistro and is open for dinner only. The menu offers an impressive amount of choices, from bruschettas to Mahi Mahi, grilled swordfish, and Seafood Tagine. Portions tend to be tiny, so make sure to order multiple times. One fun thing is that the restaurant is located on the beach, so you can have your meal with sand just under your feet and the smell of the sea.
The Mariner
Type: Resort casual, beachside area, comfort food, buffet, lunch.
The Mariner reminds me a lot of a traditional restaurant you'd find inside a cruise ship. It offers a variety of comfort foods, including burgers, chicken sandwiches, fries, and self-serve beverage stations. It's honestly a restaurant that every beach resort needs. You can easily come here after swimming or enjoying the beach, as this place won’t take up too much of your time and will satisfy your hunger. Is the food top-tier? No. Is it still tasty and does it get the job done? Yep.
Vista Sky
Type: Resort casual, beachside area, caribbean cuisine, sit-down/buffet, breakfast, lunch, dinner.
This rooftop restaurant looks pretty cute and offers nice views of the beach. Unlike the Sky restaurant at Beaches Turks & Caicos, this one is also open for lunch, so you can come here almost any hour of the day for a quick bite. The breakfast is okay, while the lunch features a rotating menu/buffet according to the day of the week. For example, it’s usually Asian cuisine on Tuesdays and Italian on Wednesdays, making it a good choice for those who always want something different. For dinner, Vista Sky becomes a traditional à la carte restaurant offering various seafood dishes.
Valentino’s
Type: Resort evening attire, beachside area, reservation required, italian, sit-down, breakfast, dinner.
Valentino’s is the main, fancy Italian restaurant at Sandals Ochi. It’s open only for dinner, and requires a reservation and formal attire to enjoy the charming atmosphere. Dishes include lasagna, linguine and gnocchi, which are Italian classics. The chicken parmigiana usually gets very, very good reviews, so that could be a good option if you don’t know what to order. Alongside Le Gourmand, this is a very good option for a romantic night out.
The Reef Terrace
Type: Resort casual, beachside area, caribbean southern cuisine, sit-down, dinner.
You look at that name and wonder if the views are great, huh? Okay, let me give you a spoiler: the vista is pretty amazing. You can sit down, savor Caribbean cuisine, gaze at the sea, and enjoy a nice breeze. Enjoy authentic Jamaican dishes like the Jamaican spice pepper pot soup and the spicy Jamaican wood-fired snapper. The food is good. The vista is even better.
The Southern Table
Type: Resort casual, hillside area, american southern cuisine, buffet/sit-down, breakfast, lunch, dinner.
Another restaurant at Sandals Ochi offers a blend of buffet for breakfast and lunch, and then a sit-down à la carte menu for dinner. This is a good option for a quick bite, especially for those staying in the hillside area of Sandals Ochi, and one of the few restaurants there that is open for all three meals of the day. Keep in mind that it’s open for lunch only from 12:30 to 2:30 pm, then it re-opens later from 5:30 to 9:30 pm for dinner. Guests typically enjoy the breakfast offered - it’s also easier to just go there if you’re staying on the hillside and don’t want to move to the beach too early - but dinner is mostly considered mediocre.
Manor House
Type: Resort casual, hillside area, caribbean cuisine, dinner.
The Manor House is a good choice for those who want a fancy dinner without dressing formally or making a reservation. This place is open from 6-10 pm and overlooks the main pool, which means that it’s centrally located in the hillside area of Sandals Ochi. You do find a lot of Jamaican inspired dishes here, so of course they have a tasty Jerk Chicken and a Jamaican style curry chicken.
