The restaurants at Sandals Negril are mostly good, though I wouldn't say any stand out as truly great. However, there are some solid choices, including some restaurants that debuted only a few years ago like Brava, which offers Spanish tapas, and Perla, which serves Latin cuisine. You'll also find options for Caribbean fare, a Japanese restaurant, and quick-service spots if you're in the mood for sweets, coffee, or a slice of pizza.

The Best Restaurants at Sandals Negril
Sundowner

Type: Resort Casual, Caribbean food, reservation required, sit-down, lunch, dinner.
Hours: 12:30pm-2:30pm; 5:30pm-9:00pm.
Sundowner is one of the best restaurants at Sandals Negril, offering dishes inspired by both Jamaican and Bahamian cuisine. The menu features Caribbean lobster, grilled mahi mahi, and a variety of other fish and meat options. The atmosphere is also fantastic. Sundowner is set on an old balcony overlooking the sunset, so it’s a good idea to reserve a spot for 5:30pm to enjoy the best views.
Brava

Type: Resort Casual, Spanish, reservation required, sit-down, dinner.
Hours: 6:00pm-9:30pm.
Looking to try something unique that you won’t find at most Sandals resorts? Welcome to the new open-air Tapas restaurant located on Negril’s Seven Mile Beach. This spot is all about enjoying plenty of tapas, sampling Spanish dishes, and sipping sangria all night. I love it, as sangria is one of my favorite drinks. What’s great about this place is that while the dishes are small, guests are encouraged to each order four or more plates to share. That way, you can try a wide variety of items from the menu, discover something new, and find your favorite Spanish dish.
Barefoot by the Sea

Type: Resort casual, seafood, beachfront dining, sit-down, breakfast, dinner.
Hours: 8:00am-10:30am; 5:30pm-9:30pm
The name says it all! You’re literally dining by the sea, with tables set up on the sand of the beautiful Seven Mile Beach, and you can even go barefoot. Enjoy a meal while taking in the ocean breeze. It’s a cool and romantic experience, especially if you arrive around 5:30pm to catch the sunset. The food here is among the best at the resort, with guests especially loving the Surf & Surf and the Steamed Mussels & Chorizo.
The Restaurants at Beaches Negril
Yes, we’ve mentioned it before, but don’t forget to visit Beaches Negril during your stay at Sandals Negril. In fact, the restaurants at Beaches Negril are generally better than those at Sandals Negril. With 13 restaurants, you’ll have access to many fan favorites, including Soy Sushi Bar, El Mariachi, The Jerk Shack (try the Jerk Chicken for lunch), Yaku, and the Green Machine (perfect for salad lovers). All of these are great options for you to try.
