Sandals Montego Bay is a large resort that has been expanding since it opened its doors in 1981. There are now a total of 12 restaurants, all complimentary for guests. You can also visit Sandals Royal Caribbean, located just 14 minutes away, to dine at 9 more complimentary restaurants. So, if you are staying in Montego Bay, you have a total of 21 restaurants at your disposal. That’s a lot of options, and there’s a good chance you won’t be able to try them all in just one week. You’ll find choices for those who love Italian food, Caribbean cuisine, sushi, and much more.
The food at Montego Bay is considered good. There isn’t a restaurant that I’d call outstanding, but there are three or four that I’d definitely call pretty good, and require your attention. No spoilers for now, we are going to talk about them soon.

Restaurants at Sandals Montego Bay that require reservation
Sandals usually has a few restaurants that require reservations, and making them should be a top priority for you. As soon as you arrive at the resort, make sure to visit the front desk (or call them) to set up a time for these restaurants. Dining Types to Sandals Grenada
At Sandals Grenada, you'll find plenty of options, whether you’re in the mood for a juicy steak, a jerk chicken, a delicious penne at Cucina Romana, or all the sushi you can eat at a charming sushi bar.
Just a heads-up: if you have any allergies, be sure to inform the front desk upon arrival so meals can be prepared with your health in mind.
Are there Quick-service restaurants at Sandals Grenada?
Yes! Some popular options include Café de Paris for a quick sandwich or coffee, Dino’s Pizzeria and The Jerk Shack. Dino’s often has slices of pizza ready to grab, perfect for taking to the pool if you don’t want to wait for an order. You can also find hot dog carts around the resort on specific days. Everyone loves a good hot dog, right?
The Jerk Shack is often considered one of the best quick-service restaurants at Sandals. Make sure to order their jerk chicken and enjoy your time at the beach!
What do you wear to dinner in Sandals Grenada?
Many guests often wonder what to wear for dinner. ‘Do I need to dress up? Should I bring a fancy dress or the tuxedo I wore to my high school prom?’ Relax, friends. As of now, only two restaurants require Resort Evening Attire:

- Butch's Steak & Seafood
According to Sandals, Resort Evening Attire means “Dress pants or jeans for men, long or short sleeve dress shirts (with or without collar). Dress shoes or sandals. No shorts, t-shirts, sleeveless shirts, sneakers, flip flops or slippers. No hats.”
All other restaurants follow a Resort Casual dress code, so you can enjoy your meal in shorts and a t-shirt.
Where to go for Breakfast at Sandals Montego Bay?
There are three spots for breakfast at Sandals Montego Bay: Bayside, Cucina Romana and Cafe de Paris.
- Bayside: Continental Breakfast and buffet, open from 5:00am to 7:00am and then from 7:30am to 10:30am.
- Cucina Romana: à la carte, open from 8:00am to 11:00am.
- Cafe de Paris: quick breakfast, open from 6:30am to 10:00pm
The Best Restaurants at Sandals Montego Bay
Tokyo Jo’s

A great option is to go right as it opens its doors at 5:30pm, as Tokyo Jo’s is situated right above the ocean, making it a perfect spot to catch the sunset. The concept is simple: you select the ingredients for your dish, and the staff prepares it in front of you. It's a classic stir-fry with your choice of protein and vegetables, and the food is both tasty and served hot. The ingredients are considered very fresh, so go for the food, but stay for the incredible views.
Cucina Romana

Cucina Romana is widely regarded as one of the best restaurants at Sandals Montego Bay, and most guests seem to agree. While everyone has their favorite dish, the penne pasta and gnocchi are among the top choices, along with the minestrone soup and lasagna, which also receive great reviews. The atmosphere is pleasant, and diners can even watch their food being prepared in the open kitchen.
Soy Sushi Bar

Soy is a classic restaurant at Sandals, often featured at several Sandals Resorts. Soy is all about traditional sushi in small portions. Sit down, relax, and order all the sushi you want! The sushi is pretty good and there are many options, and you can even ask the chefs for their signature rolls and they will surprise you with something even tastier! If you aren’t a big fan of raw fish, they also have many cooked options with shrimp and fish, like the crispy spicy tuna. Crispy sushi is also very good!
Butch's Steak & Seafood

Butch's Steakhouse has become increasingly popular in recent years, with one being introduced at nearly every Sandals resort that launched in the last five years or so. I have to say, it’s pretty cool to see one at the OG Sandals! Butch's Steak & Seafood requires both a reservation and resort evening attire, so be sure to dress appropriately. The menu offers many great options, including the popular Surf & Turf, which features filet mignon with grilled shrimp, as well as the lamb chops. Desserts also receive high praise, with guests raving about the white chocolate pie and the Willy Wonka Brûlée.
