The best restaurants at Beaches Negril are:
- Yaku
- El Mariachi
- Café de Paris
Beaches Negril has a total of 13 restaurants, all of which are complimentary for guests. From hamburgers to pizza, pasta, steaks, sushi and beyond, the culinary offerings are diverse and extensive. Whether you prefer quick-service, à la carte, or buffet-style dining, there's something to satisfy every guest.
Is the food good? Sure. Most reviews online also agree with me, and say that it’s above average for a beach resort like this. Now, is the food amazing like you’d expect from a five star French restaurant? Nah. I also don’t think this will ever happen in a Beach Resort, since they have to make a lot of food in a short amount of time for thousands of guests. For such a difficult challenge, they’ve done quite well.
Beaches Negril takes pride in offering some of the best food among all Beaches Resorts, featuring exclusive restaurants that you won’t find anywhere else, such as a Mexican restaurant and a Peruvian restaurant.

Dining Types to Beaches Negril
You can find a lot of different options in Beaches Negril. Love Japanese food? There are two options, and you can try either Kimono for a fun family dinner or go for sushi at Soy Sushi Bar. Dinno’s Pizzeria is a great option for kids, and you can grab the best hamburgers at Bar B Q Park.
At the time of this writing, two restaurants at Beaches Negril require reservation: Kimonos and Yaku. Make sure to book them as soon as you arrive, or ask your butler to do so in case you are staying in a Butler Elite suite. If you have any allergies, inform your concierge upon arrival or the front desk so meals can be prepared with your health in mind.
The restaurants at Beaches Negril are divided into:
Quick-service restaurants
You just need to order your food at a counter, grab it, and you’re good to go. Casual restaurants and food trucks often follow this style. These spots are perfect for a quick bite, offering items like tacos, hamburgers, pizza, and fries.
Sit-Down restaurants & Buffet
Fancy dining options typically fit this description. Guests sit down and order their food à la carte, similar to a traditional restaurant. Many places that offer Italian and French cuisine follow this style. Some restaurants offer buffets throughout the day, while others transition from buffet to a traditional à la carte style in the evening.

What do you wear to dinner in Beaches Negril?
Many guests often wonder what to wear when going out for dinner. “Do I need to dress all fancy? Do I need a beautiful dress or the tuxedo I last wore to my high school prom?” Relax, friends.
As of 2024, every restaurant at Beaches Negril requires only Resort Casual attire. This means you just need shorts, a t-shirt, and slippers to dine at any restaurant. However, we still recommend bringing one fancy outfit for a romantic night out or a special event or party.
Let’s take a look at the restaurants waiting for you, from the best choices to quick-service options and sit-down restaurants.
The Best restaurants at Beaches Negril
Yaku

Type: Resort casual, peruvian, reservation required, sit-down, dinner.
Alongside Kimono, this is the other restaurant at Beaches Negril that requires a reservation. Yaku has a lot of hype behind its name - it's Beaches Negril’s newest restaurant, replacing the Venetian not that long ago. I'm glad to say that this is one of the best and most unique restaurants not only at Beaches Negril but in the entire Beaches Resorts. This is one of the few places where you can have ceviche, seco de cordero and a lot of unique dishes you won’t find anywhere else. Make sure to make a reservation for this restaurant as soon as you arrive in Negril.
El Mariachi

Type: Resort casual, mexican, buffet, lunch, dinner.
El Mariachi is almost a two-in-one restaurant. During the day, they offer comfort food like hamburgers, hot dogs and fries. At night, this place offers authentic Mexican cuisine where you can find burritos, tacos, nachos and much more. Can you even imagine a place where you can eat tacos without ever worrying about the price? Sounds like a dream to me. Mariachi is usually very crowded, since it offers a lot of food options and is located right next to the waterpark.
Café de Paris

Type: Resort casual, snacks, coffee, quick-service, open all day
Café de Paris is a haven for coffee enthusiasts (spoiler: that’s me). This charming bistro exudes an aura of awesomeness, with a nearby promenade that transports you to the heart of Paris. It's an ideal spot for breakfast and a great place to spend your evenings. The bistro only closes at 10:30pm and tends to transform into a lively social hub as the night unfolds. The food here is also very diverse, and you can find everything from crepes (try the banana nutella crepe) to ice creams, cappuccinos and hot chocolate.

Quick-Service restaurants at Beaches Negril
Bar B Q Park
Type: Resort casual, snacks, BBQ, quick-service, lunch, dinner.
This is a great spot to grab a quick bite. Located near the swimming pools and waterpark, you can easily pick up food and take it to your private cabana, the waterpark, or even your room. You'll find bacon hamburgers, sandwiches, fries, chicken nuggets and much more. Comfort food pairs perfectly with a vacation, so it's great that Beaches Negril has a restaurant like this. The jerk chicken is a huge deal here, so make sure to try it at least once. There's also a self-serve ice cream station that kids (and let's be honest, us adults) adore. This is one of the best restaurants available since it’s open most of the day, offers a huge variety of food and only closes at 3am.
Jerk Shack
Type: Resort casual, caribbean cuisine, quick-service, lunch.
Want a quick bite while you sit right by the ocean? According to Beaches Negril, “chefs apply the jerk cooking style using a marinade or paste that incorporates pimento (allspice) and scotch bonnet peppers”. Sounds good. And spicy as well. Which is also good, right? The Jerk Shack is located right on Seven Mile Beach, so you can have the true Jamaican experience of eating Jerk Chicken while checking out the ocean.
Dino’s Pizzeria
Type: Resort casual, pizza, quick-service, great for kids, lunch
Located near the beach, this is a great option to visit right after your adventures across the Seven Mile Beach. The pizza usually gets really good reviews, but the main problem is that orders can take a while. Sometimes, guests wait about one hour for their pizza, so make sure to plan ahead. The good news is that there are over 10 options of pizza, including a chocolate and banana pizza that is really addicting. Dino’s pizza is only open until 6pm, so if you are feeling pizza in the evening you can box a few slices and take it to your room.
Yoyo's
Type: Resort casual, yogurt, ice-cream, quick-service, lunch, dinner.
Yoyo is a paradise for those who love frozen yogurt and ice cream. The idea is simple: three or four self-service stations where you choose your yogurt or ice cream and then eat to your heart’s content. Not only that, but they also have a table full of delicious treats for you to create your ice cream masterpiece. Gummies, candies, cereals… everything is there so you can turn your dessert into an ice cream Mona Lisa. They also offer low-fat, non-fat, and non-dairy choices for all diets and tastes.
Green Machine

Type: Resort casual, salads, quick-service, lunch.
The Green Machine is a new restaurant that recently debuted at Beaches Negril. It focuses on healthy food, allowing you to create your own salad from a variety of proteins, toppings, cheese, and more. There are over forty options in total, ranging from traditional tomatoes & carrots to jerk pork, smoked mackerel, and much more. It’s fantastic to see Beaches Negril offering a healthy option like this, especially since we know it can be challenging to maintain our diet while on vacation.
Chick’N Dippers
Type: Resort casual, chicken, quick-service, lunch.
Another new addition to Beaches Negril, Chick’N Dippers is all about— you guessed it— chicken. This food truck offers everything related to chicken, including several chicken tender variations and sandwich options. Whether you prefer grilled, spicy, or fried chicken, they have it all, along with a variety of sauces. Each chicken dish also comes with different sides to choose from, including mac & cheese, fries, jerk fries, and cole slaw. It goes without saying that this is also a great restaurant for kids, right?

Sit-Down & Buffet restaurants at Beaches Negril
Kimonos
Type: Resort casual, japanese food, reservation required, sit-down, dinner.
Kimonos stands out as one of the most popular and renowned restaurants at Beaches Negril. It offers a Teppanyaki cooking style experience, where skilled chefs perform impressive tricks as they prepare delicious meals on a flat surface grill right in front of you. The food usually gets very good reviews and the entire experience is well worth it, especially for kids. Just keep in mind that this is one of the rare restaurants in Beaches Negril where you need to make a reservation. It also gets Famvia’s special stamp for one of the best restaurants in the whole resort, as it mixes good food and an awesome atmosphere for guests of all ages.
Soy Sushi Bar

Type: Resort casual, sushi, sit-down, dinner.
If Kimono is all about the Teppanyaki cooking style, then Soy is about traditional sushi. Sit down, relax, and order all the sushi you want! The sushi is pretty good and there are many options, but it does take a while to arrive, so plan accordingly. If you aren’t a big fan of raw fish, they also have many cooked options with shrimp and fish, like the crispy spicy tuna. Crispy sushi is also very good!
The Mill
Type: Resort casual, international cuisine, buffet, breakfast, lunch, dinner.
This is probably the main restaurant at Beaches Negril. It’s huge, located right by the main pool, and open almost all day, offering a variety of buffet-style food. There’s nothing absolutely amazing about the food, but it gets the job done. During breakfast, you can find traditional omelets, cereals, lots of bacon, and fresh fruits. Lunch has a rotating menu that changes each day of the week; on Monday, they might offer Mexican dishes, while on Tuesday, they might serve Jamaican meals. The same happens at dinner, although you’re going to find a lot of pasta and Italian dishes most of the time. It’s also at The Mill where kids can “cook” with the Cookie Monster for free!
Stew Fish Grill
Type: Resort casual, seafood, sit-down, dinner.
A fun place to have dinner right by the beach. You can actually order your food while your kids play on the sand. Stew Fish Grill, as the name implies, focuses on seafood, offering a variety of options that range from fish fillets to curry octopus. Stew Fish Grill is closed one night each week, so make sure to plan ahead if you want to visit this cozy place.
