If you love Guardians of the Galaxy, you need to try this ride
Come with us to experience Guardians of the Galaxy Mission Breakout at Disneyland California! This ride replaces Tower of Terror, and it has been a total blast since it opened. Let’s start with the premise that the Guardians have been trapped by the Collector and are on display as part of his collection.
You will see TONS of Marvel easter eggs and details as you go through the queue. You even get to see the Collector's... collection... but you end up getting recruited to help break out the Guardians! Yay, fighting for the good guys.
This ride is intense! Don’t be scared when it shoots you straight up into the air as soon as it starts, and then it drops you and basically that’s what happens over and over again, but with nice music that the Guardians movies are known for.
You might recognize some songs that are part of Starlor'd playlist, and the songs can even change the ride a little bit and decide how many times you go up, down... or down and up!
Is It Too Scary for kids?
That’s a good question! The ride itself is not scary, but it includes loud sounds in the dark and some beasts that may scare young children. Well, it's definitely not as scary as Tower of Terror with ghosts calling you. It's just a very fun ride overall.
This ride shows you NEW special effects, cameos by some of your favorite characters, music inspired by the films, and exciting drops. Tower of Terror was already amazing, and Mission Breakout follows its footsteps.
