A new era is arriving at Disneyland Paris
Ok, now Disney is truly trying to step up its game. Fans have almost seen everything. The new movies, some new rides, new hotels. But surely it hasn’t been enough to surprise us, right? We were still missing that wow factor that we enjoy when we hear the word “innovation” or “surprise”. Like the new Epic Universe *cough*... but, hey, no one is comparing them here, okay?
However, it seems Disneyland Paris wants to put a stop to this belief and is trying to bring back Disney magic with a new concept that will blow our minds. Let’s take a look at it!
Disney Adventure World
Disneyland Paris initially sparked our excitement with the captivating Disneyland Hotel, complete with Frozen-themed suites (impressive, right?). But the surprises didn't stop there! Now, brace yourselves: the beloved Walt Disney Studios Park is set for a magical transformation, courtesy of some fairy dust.
Get ready for the grand unveiling of Disney Adventure World, packed with several immersive experiences like never before seen. Natcha Rafalski, President of Disneyland Paris, shares, "Embracing a transformation that involves the overhaul of more than 90% of Walt Disney Studios Park since its debut in 2002, we're unveiling a fresh creative vision that has completely redefined our second gate." She also assures, "It's set to offer unique adventures in immersive worlds, serving as a perfect complement to Disneyland Park." What fantastic news!
What are some of the main features of this transformation?
New Entrance
Spring 2025 is shaping up to be greater than ever! While you may not have access to a high-tech time machine, stepping into the new gates entrance at Disney Adventure World will transport you to a whole new world right before your eyes. I love the purple lights in that concept art, reminds me of the Neon used in Tron!
Guests will get the chance to enter a unique movie studio. The current decorations will be transformed in order to remember the iconic movie theaters that have been known in the past decades. Vibrant colors, iconic lighting, and many places to visit will be at your complete disposal.
And if you keep walking to the World Premiere Plaza, you'll be enveloped in an ambiance inspired by the magic of Walt Disney Entertainment Studios and Pixar Animation Studios. The carefully curated decorations will make this spot a truly unique hangout during your visit. And I couldn't agree more about incorporating technological innovations to ensure the experience feels fresh and forward-thinking, striking the perfect balance between nostalgia and cutting-edge excitement.
New World
The World of Frozen is making its way to Paris. While we may not encounter a frozen bridge conjured by Queen Elsa, we'll certainly have the opportunity to immerse ourselves in a unique experience that transports us to the... frozen... realm of Arendelle.
The iconic mountain, colorful village, and different attractions will make this place a chilly adventure. It would be cool to have some snow there, right? Maybe even something artificial showering us with white flocks?
New shows?
Yes, and from one of my favorite Disney movies: Alice in Wonderland. I grew up watching them (all of them). Love them. Can’t wait to see this show starting on May 25th. We can expect acrobatics and colorful effects.
I hope they really give justice to the movie! At least they’re giving us a sneak peek of the new surprises for this year, instead of waiting all this time until 2025.
