How to move between all the Disney parks?
Remember that we told you that one of the best perks of staying inside one of the many Disney hotels are the methods of transportation available to you? Well, today we are going to tell you exactly what are your transportation options depending on the park that you wish to vist. Let’s start!
For Magic Kingdom
The most visited theme park in all Disney World has these transportation options for you:
You can take the Monorail from Disney’s Contemporary Resort, Disney Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, or Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort.
Take the boat from Disney Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground, Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, or Disney’s Wilderness Lodge.
You can get to Magic Kingdom by walking if you stay at Disney’s Contemporary Resort or Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.
The bus is an option for all Disney Resort hotels.
The most common option to get to Magic Kingdom is to park at the transportation and ticket center, then take the Monorail or board the ferryboat to the park entrance.
For Epcot:
For this one, there are a few transportation options:
You can take the Disney Skyliner from Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, Disney Pop Century Resort, or the Disney Riviera Resort.
You still have the Monorail, you can take it from the Disney Contemporary Resort, Disney Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, or Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort.

Say hi to the Friendship Boat, and take it from Disney’s Boardwalk Inn, Disney Yacht Club Resort, or the Disney Beach Club Resort.
You can still take the bus from all other Disney Resort hotels, or walk from Disney's Boardwalk In, Disney Yacht Club Resort, or the Disney Beach Club Resort.
You can also just drive to Epcot and park at the parking lot.
For Hollywood Studios:
We have the Skyliner included here from Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, Disney Pop Century Resort, or the Disney Riviera Resort.
Also available is the Friendship Boat from Disney’s Boardwalk Inn, Disney Yacht Club Resort, or the Disney Beach Club Resort.
You also have access to a bus if you are staying in a Disney resort.
You can also drive there and park in the parking lot.
For Animal Kingdom:
This is the park with the least amount of transportation options, but they are still very efficient:
Park in the Animal Kingdom parking lot and take the tram or walk to the park entrance. A little reminder that parking is complimentary for Disney Resort hotel guests.
To park hop from Disney’s Hollywood Studios, EPCOT, or Magic Kingdom, you will need to take the bus.
