As EPCOT is getting closer to the end of its long awaited transformation, some people have mixed feelings about the most recent updates.
Even though the Dreamer’s Point and the Luminous nighttime show are exciting, there are concerns that some folks think are pretty important to address right now.
P-problems!?
One major problem is that the transformation seems smaller than what was originally planned. Many guests expected additions like a Mary Poppins based ride, updates to Spaceship Earth and surprises to the PLAY! Pavilion. Nothing like this happened.
Despite some new things like the Communicore Hall and Plaza, other projects got delayed or left out. This left some fans feeling a bit let down and wanting clear updates about what was actually going on.
One more concern
The most recent issue is with the Luminous show. Okay, people like the music, but they miss a strong visual story. In the past, there were problems with big barges blocking the view during the Harmonious presentation.
Disney TRIED to fix that by taking the barges away, but now some feel like the replacement doesn't fully capture the magic, especially for those who can't hear that well. Even though it's good that the new setup doesn't block views in the daytime, finding a balance that makes everyone happy is tough.

We know for sure that in the middle of all these changes at EPCOT, these concerns show how it's not easy to keep everyone happy.
People want updates and a full transformation that meets everyone's expectations, and sometimes plans do change during the course of a big renovation or a new update. As things unfold, we'll keep you in the loop with the latest Disney news. Stay tuned to Famvia for more updates on EPCOT's big changes and everything related to Disney!
