A Disney World adventure is a whole planning stage, and we're here to guide you through the potential mistakes of choosing the wrong weeks! We consider these dates the WORST weeks to visit Disney World in 2024. Let's see more about it.
Early January
While you might think early January is a safe date because the holidays are over, think again! New Year's Eve, New Year's Day, and the early days of January can surprise you with unexpected crowds. Extended holiday breaks draw in more visitors, not to mention the EPCOT Festival of the Arts and the Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend from January 3rd to 7th. Prepare yourself for crowded parks!
Late March to Early April
Spring Break weeks are a common choice for Disney World hotspots. If you can avoid it, you should! Prices can up during this time, reaching $164+ for certain dates. The EPCOT Flower and Garden Festival is amazing during these dates, but the crowds and high ticket prices might make you reconsider.
Late May to Early August
Late May marks the start of summer vacation, and with it comes a surge of visitors. Schools letting out, the EPCOT Food & Wine Festival in July, and the summer temperatures make this period the less ideal time to visit. Be prepared for both crowds and Central Florida heat! Summer in Florida is no joke, folks, with temperatures easily reaching 104 °F.
Early September
After Labor Day, the later weeks of September present a favorable window for a visit. Crowds and prices tend to drop, making it an opportune time for a magical experience. Keep an eye on Hollywood Studios for a magical visit!
Late October, November, & December
It's the last weeks of October, November, and December that witness the peak of holiday fever. Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s bring hordes of visitors, along with the EPCOT Festival of the Holidays, Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, and Jollywood Nights. You need to prepare yourself for the festive magic during the busiest times of the year!
