An excellent way to start the week!
We have good news for Walt Disney World fans! Disney has updated their operating hours calendar, and three out of the four Walt Disney World theme parks are extending their hours in late March 2024.
Starting March 24th, both Magic Kingdom and Disney's Animal Kingdom will enjoy an ADDITIONAL three hours of operation on most days. Meanwhile, Disney's Hollywood Studios will have a small extension of 30 minutes during the same timeframe. More time to enjoy awesome rides like Space Mountain, Expedition Everest and more!
We did some research and here's a breakdown of the extended hours:
Disney's Animal Kingdom
- March 24: 8 am - 7 pm (previously 9 am - 6 pm)
- March 25 - 30: 8 am - 8 pm (previously 9 am - 6 pm)
Magic Kingdom
- March 24 - 30: 8 am - 11 pm (previously 9 am - 9 pm)
Disney's Hollywood Studios
- March 25 - 26, 28 - 30: 9 am - 9:30 pm (previously 9 am - 9 pm)
Additionally, if you are staying at Walt Disney World Resort hotels and have the early entry perk, you can access each park 30 minutes prior to the regular opening time.
With these extended operating hours, visitors can soak up even more of the magic at Walt Disney World. Whether it's strolling leisurely, getting an early start on attractions, spending extra time in line for Peter Pan's Flight, catching a late run at Rise of the Resistance, or sampling some lesser-known food options, there's something for everyone to enjoy.
