Walt Disney World isn't just about theme parks and characters... it's also a haven for golf players! Offering a break from the magic of the parks, golfing at Walt Disney World Resort provides a unique moment for visitors who aren't necessarily looking for thrilling rides.
The resort features three championship golf courses: Magnolia, Palm, and Lake Buena Vista. Magnolia and Palm have been part of the PGA Tour, hosting renowned players and events since 1971. Lake Buena Vista has also been part of PGA, LPGA, and USGA tournaments.
The best part of it? You get to drive cute Mickey Mouse golf carts. Okay, maybe the best part is actually playing golf, but those carts look really cute, just look at them!
Lake Buena Vista
Enclosed within Disney's Saratoga Springs and other resorts, Lake Buena Vista offers a scenic journey through Disney's landscapes. Despite its shorter length, this course presents a true test of skill, with highlights like the Island Green 7th hole.
Magnolia
This is situated at Shades of Green Resort. Magnolia is the most challenging course on the entire property, demanding accuracy and length from players. It counts over 90 bunkers and water hazards.
Nine Hole Course
If you are looking for a quick round or or a begginer course, Disney's Oak Trail Golf Course is ideal. It offers scenic views and wildlife spots, it's a fair and challenging course, perfect for improving your skills. Well, I'm not a golfer, so I'd need to stay here for a week or two.
