Did you know that Disney World isn’t just about theme parks and dining next to Cinderella and Belle? Oh no, Mickey goes way beyond that. Disney World also offers a shopping district called Disney Springs, arcades, fishing and… golf. Yes, you can be the new Tiger Woods or Scottie Scheffler in Florida while practicing those swings in four different golf courses.
Here are the four golf courses you can find at Walt Disney World:
- Disney’s Palm Golf Course
- Disney’s Magnolia Golf Course
- Disney’s Lake Buena Vista Golf Course
- Disney’s Oak Trail Golf Course
Overview
Here’s a complete list of basic information about golfing at Disney World:
- Golf is a paid activity at Disney World.
- You can book tee times up to three months in advance.
- Prices vary depending on the course, time, and date. Expect to pay at least $100 per round, and most rounds will take you about four hours to complete. Golf carts are included in your green fees if you play any of the 18-hole courses. In general, prices range from $90 to $175 per guest.

Walt Disney World Golf Courses
Disney’s Magnolia Golf Course
- Near: Disney’s Polynesian Village
- Average Price: $130 per guest
The Magnolia Golf Course was the very first golf course introduced at Disney World and hosted official PGA championships for 42 years. It’s such a classic that legends like Tiger Woods and Jack Nicklaus have played - and won - here. The closest resort to Magnolia Golf Course is Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. While there’s no walking path connecting the two, you can catch a complimentary taxi to start swinging in no time.
Disney’s Palm Golf Course
- Near: Disney’s Polynesian Village
- Average Price: $110 per guest
Palm Golf Course is a challenging course with plenty of water hazards and bunkers, and best suited for intermediate to expert golfers (aka: not me). It’s located near Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, and like the Magnolia Golf Course, there’s no direct walking path between them. However, complimentary transportation is available for resort guests heading to the course.
Disney’s Lake Buena Vista Golf Course
- Near: Disney’s Saratoga Spring Resort
- Average price: $119 per guest
This is the kind of course that comes to mind when you think of classic golf, surrounded by trees, lakes, and beautiful views. It’s located near Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort - so close, in fact, that you can walk from the resort to the Lake Buena Vista Golf Course, which is definitely a plus. It’s also considered a great course for both beginners and intermediate players.
Disney’s Oak Trail Golf Course
- Near: Disney’s Polynesian Village and Shades of Green Resort
- Average price: variable, but usually cheaper than the other courses.
The Oak Trail Golf Course is a bit different from the others, and designed more for beginners and junior golfers. It’s the smallest of all the Disney courses - so small, in fact, that it features just 9 holes instead of 18, and you can walk between them with ease. Since it’s considered a walking course, renting a golf cart at Oak Trail comes with an additional charge.
Footgolf

Disney’s Oak Trail Golf Course offers something a little different… FootGolf! It’s a fun mashup of traditional golf and soccer. And no, you don’t need to have the DNA of Tiger Woods and Lionel Messi to play. FootGolf is a great entertainment option for the whole family, and believe it or not, there’s even an American FootGolf Association. At this rate, FootGolf might just take over the world.
A round of FootGolf typically takes a family of four about 90 minutes to complete. It’s also more affordable than traditional golf, with prices starting around $30 per guest.
Golf Dress Code
There is a dress code you’ll need to follow when playing golf at Disney World - and yes, it applies to FootGolf too.
- For men: Slacks or Bermuda-length shorts and collared golf shirts are required. The following are not permitted: denim shorts, jeans, T-shirts, sleeveless shirts, denim shirts, or shirts with inappropriate words or images.
- For women: Bermuda-length shorts, skirts, skorts, capris, or slacks are allowed. Sleeveless shirts are permitted, but tank tops and tube tops are not.

Mini-Golf at Disney World

Ahh, I love mini-golf, and how unique the courses can be, with all kinds of wild and wacky hazards. Disney World has two main mini-golf locations: Fantasia Gardens and Winter Summerland.
- Fantasia Gardens is themed after Fantasia, one of Disney’s most iconic films. It’s located across from the Swan and Dolphin Resorts. It costs $19 per adult and $12 per child (ages 3–9).
- Winter Summerland is a festive, Christmas-themed course. Like Fantasia Gardens, it also costs $19 per adult and $12 per child (ages 3–9). It’s located right next to Blizzard Beach Water Park.
