The film is written and directed by Iain Softley and stars John Travolta (who served as an executive producer too) and Ben Radcliffe. This emotional and magical holiday film follows the story of a fighter pilot on his way home to England on Christmas Eve in 1957 who got lost mid-flight over the North Sea and needs a miracle to land safely.
In fact, the movie is based on the story written by novelist Frederick Forsyth. The film is only 38 minutes long, perfect for families who are busy during the holidays but also want to bond by watching a good movie. Also perfect for those who want to watch a holiday film but don't have enough time with a busy life during this busy month!
Either way, you should watch it because, aside from the fact that it’s already available on Disney+, The Sheperd will truly remind you of the Christmas spirit through its beautiful storytelling.
