There are lots of amazing things that you can do at Walt Disney World. From going to awesome attractions, restaurants, enjoying a wide variety of entertainment options, festivals, and much more, we are sure that you will never get bored. But of course, maintenance and refurbishments are needed from time to time.
That’s why closures often happen at Disney World, either for maintenance or refurbishment. Watch out for these few closures that may interfere with your vacation plans.
Here, we’ll let you know the temporary closures in Disney World theme parks and restaurants from November 28th to December 2nd, 2023.
Magic Kingdom
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure

Splash Mountain has been closed since January 23rd, 2023, and is being reimagined into the Princess and Frog with an expected launch date in late 2024. By the time it reopens, it will be called Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. We’re excited to go here once it opens!
Tom Sawyer Island

The barrel bridge on Tom Sawyer Island has been missing, and construction walls have blocked the entrance since July this year thanks to lots of refurbishments. So, if you are planning to visit this island, remove it now from your list.
EPCOT
The Land Cart

The better-for-you and super healthy snack cart in EPCOT’s The Land pavilion is closed now and will remain closed for the rest of the week. You may want to find other health-friendly food options in EPCOT, like the Regal Eagle Smokehouse and Katsura Grill.
Restaurant Marrakesh

As one of Disney World's most ethnic and interesting restaurants as a result of its authentic Moroccan cuisine and table-service experience, many go back and want to visit Restaurant Marrakesh. For now, tough, it remains open as a lounge and not as a restaurant. Hopefully, they’ll be back in operation so we can taste their Moroccan dishes!
Those are all the details that we have for the closures in Disney World this week, folks! Remember, always be prepared and plan your trip in advance.
