We have been keeping an eye on the newest Disney Cruise Line ship, the Disney Treasure, and every progress keeps us on the edge of our chairs, with high expectations and even higher excitement. We can’t wait to finally see the finished product!
At the present moment, every step taken is crucial to finish building the Disney Treasure, especially when the iconic and easily recognizable red funnels take center stage and finish another step into the construction of this new member of the Disney Cruise Line.
Where does the magic happen?
At the Meyer Werft shipyard in Papenburg, Germany, a group of carefully selected workers have been bringing to life the beautiful Disney Treasure, a four thousand guest ship that is expected to join Disney’s fleet on December 2024. Now we just have to wait one more year (fingers crossed)!
Classic Red Funnels aboard!
As mentioned earlier, a magical bird has told us that the under-construction ship has received its forward and aft funnels! This is not only a classical cruise statement, especially for Disney, because it is not only designed for the cruise’s appearance but for the important responsibilities that are given to it too. The funnels play a big role in the many activities that will be offered and even future accommodations.
Exciting new additions...
The Disney Treasure is expected to feature the AquaMouse water coaster thrill ride, and this is going to have the help and support of the forward funnel, which is also going to be hosting the new Tomorrow Tower Suite inspired by EPCOT. Yes, I know, Disney couldn’t leave the park magic on dry land.
