Out of park tickets? Here’s how to still celebrate in Disney

It’s the most WONDERFUL time of the year again, guys! And it is evident in Disney World — the theme parks are already in their merry and festive themes! (yay)

The EPCOT Festival of the Holidays, Jollywood Nights, and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas have already begun, plus there are holiday snacks everywhere in Disney World. But wait, there’s more! Even though you don’t have a park ticket, you can still experience the holiday vibe at Disney World.

    But... How!?

For the first time in forever, Disney World’s Swan and Dolphin Resorts will be hosting holiday celebrations such as the new Elf Outpost, wherein you can visit Santa’s toy workshop and bakery, enjoy complimentary cookie decorating, choose crafts and toys of your choice from his workshop, and take a tour guided by his elves!

There will also be a new celebration, the Tales from the North Pole, wherein you and loved ones can enjoy milk and cookies, a special reading of the Christmas classic “‘Twas the Night Before Christmas,” and even have the opportunity to take a book home, which will happen twice a night. Oh wow, so exciting!

Plus, there’ll be a Santa and Mrs. Claus Meet and Greets. Y’all can meet, greet, and have a photo opportunity with them in their customized Tiki hut on selected nights from November to December. Although it’s not a new holiday event hosted by the resort, many surely want to meet the White Christmas icons, especially the kids.

    Do not eat Santa, please

Last but not the least, there’ll be a 7-foot-tall, life-size sculpture of Santa Clause that is sitting in his chair, constructed entirely of chocolate, and weighs approximately 2,000 pounds. There'll be a standing, life-size chocolate Nutcracker too! It is called the Life-Size Chocolate Holiday Santa Scene and can be found in the lobby of Swan and Dolphin Resorts until December. A win for the sweet lovers. (just like us)

This is certainly an exciting and fun holiday celebration, right? So, even though you weren’t able to buy a park ticket on the date that you preferred — especially since Christmas and New Year got sold out —you can still celebrate in the hotel with all their holiday events! You know what the good part is? You won't even need to dig your way through the crowds in Magic Kingdom and Epcot. Those parks will be packed.
