Disney is coming strong in 2024 with a wide range of new surprises, and we can’t wait to see all the new additions that are coming to Walt Disney World!
One of the most hyped new attractions is the so-called Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, which is suppose to open late 2024.
Too good of a secret keeper
Disney is good at keeping secrets and cares about not spoiling too many details about their new attractions, making fans feel more and more thrilled about the opening of a fresh park addition.
Three eternal years
Since June 2020, Disney has kept fans in the dark about a few important details surrounding the rethemed ride, which has the difficult and challenging mission of replacing the iconic Splash Mountain. Of course that this had only fueled our desire to figure out how many drops Tiana will feature and if the new ride will be able to get us as soaked as Kali River Rapids (please don't).

After three years of waiting, fans are still making up a few hypotheses about the new ride, since Disney is keeping a lot of secrets under a tight lock. Let's dive deep into some of those rumors:
Opening Date:
Ok, we already know that Tiana's Bayou Adventure will be located at Magic Kingdom and Disneyland. What we still don't know is the official launch date for this new attraction. How late 2024 are we talking about, are we expected to wait until November or even December?
Interactions with its surroundings:
No gift shops, snack booths, or stores surrounding the new construction space have been modified or removed at all. When are we supposed to see a new design popping up?
Story details:
Well, we have a good amount of information about the storyline that the ride is going to follow. Tiana and Louis are going to be joined by guests on an adventure inside the Bayou, and we are going to meet new friends. Part of the plot is going to be finding a missing ingredient for the Mardi Gras party.
We still don't know how Disney is going to add more excitement and adrenaline to the story, so it can match the excitement of what's expected from a modern log flume ride. Maybe a new villain is coming to town?
