The Loki series has been well loved by many viewers since its first season.
The first season, which consisted of six episodes and premiered in June 2021, followed the story of Loki, the God of Mischief, who embarked on an adventure that took place after the events of Avengers: Endgame.
The series received positive reviews, especially for the awesome performances from Tom Hiddleston and Sophia Di Martino. I mean, if you have watched Loki, I’m sure that you will agree with the 87% rating on Rotten Tomatoes and 4.8 stars on Google reviews.

A new era for the Avengers
If you’re wondering who’s the great creative mind behind the MCU series, it’s none other than Michael Waldron, who also wrote Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness and Rick and Morty. Wow!
But wait, there’s more — he is about to embark on a new project once again within Marvel’s Cinematic Universe. Waldron is set to write the upcoming Marvel film, Avengers: Kang Dynasty, which will premiere in 2026. So exciting!

In fact, he was only set to write Avengers: Secret Wars, which will premiere in 2027, but now, the creative will write both films because Destin Daniel Cretton, who was the initial scriptwriter, opted to focus on other projects.
Well, we can’t wait to watch both films a few years from now because one of the GOAT writers, Waldron, will be writing them!
