December kicks off this Friday, and Disney is already deep into the Holiday Season. We get it, Disney, we can not contain the excitement for the Christmas Season either.
Walking through the parks on these special dates is a unique experience that allows visitors to connect with their inner children, and for kids to create their own Christmas memories.
A glimpse of our memories
Watching all the joyful decorations, the newly themed merchandise with our favorite characters in it, special events, shows, and the festive menus at every turn surely connects us with those childhood memories when we used to decorate the Christmas tree or prepare a couple of warm cookies with a glass of milk while waiting with excitement for Santa’s visit.
Ok, enough nostalgia, is time to create new memories! Disney is full of amazing spots that have shifted into a magical portal for this Christmas Season. We have the example of the popular attraction “Jungle Cruise” which transforms into “Jingle Cruise” for this very special time.
A hidden gem in the middle of the Jungle?
At Disney Springs, there is another place that changes during seasons and is waiting for you to have a wonderful time. Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar, a less well-known spot whose aesthetic was inspired by the Indiana Jones movies, changes to Jock Lindsey’s Holiday Bar specifically to celebrate the upcoming festivities.
However, it's not only the decorations and atmosphere that changes into red, green, white, and sparkles, but its menu as well! So, foodies out there, add this place to your agenda! It is a must for your next visit.

For this year's special additions to the themed menu, they have:
- O’ Ham N’ Cheese Trees (even the names are so creative and innovative); for $15, savor this delicious mix of flavors, between puff pastry, Pitt ham, some melted cheddar, a special garlic herb butter, and in the center some sugar plum jam. All the ingredients are gracefully placed into the shape of a Christmas tree, and the garlic butter is shaped like a star. Love the creativity here!
- Hot Chocolate Grail Flight; for $26, you can get THREE specialties of hot chocolate. Spiced Caramel combined with the original Captain Morgan’s spiced Rum, Peppermint mixed with Baileys Irish Cream and Bols Creme de Menthe White Liqueur, and the not-so-traditional Cookies ‘n Cream option, which is mixed with Stoli Vanil Vodka and white white chocolate. The ingredients chosen for these beverages are well thought out, especially for this season, a great mix of the spiciness and minty flavors, along with the selected alcohol, makes the perfect drinks for the Holidays. Just a warning, the Cookies ‘n Cream option can be a little bit overly sugary so unless you love a sweet flavor, it may be not as enjoyable as the other two.
