Ohhh, how we love a good surprise, right? Especially when it merges the experience of two of our beloved hobbies, good food and Disney!
Walt Disney World always keeps an open mind for new and exciting additions to the parks, and we are so thrilled to follow any possible clue that will lead us to be the first ones in line to try Mickey's latest invention.
The secret society
Disney is always announcing the official opening dates for everything they're working on, even for a snack booth, right Mmmm, no, it is not always like that, if Disney starts announcing every piece of information about the new additions we couldn't call it a surprise anymore, and the excitement would vanish faster than fairy dust.
We enjoy the thrill of becoming super not-so-secret detectives.
I spy with my little eye
Our latest clue has led us to believe that there will be a new foodie spot opening soon at Disney Springs. Summer House on the Lake is a new restaurant that will be offering a delicious menu inspired by West Coast cuisine, Cali-Mex Brunch, and, our favorite part, The Cookie Jar which will be the assigned dessert bar of the whole place.
We are sure this one is going to become one of our favorite spots, we simply cannot wait to savor all these new flavors, no doubt!
"Great minds think alike..."
The numerous planks that were surrounding the upcoming dining spot came down and we can finally get a glimpse of what to aesthetically expect of the place. Yes, this was the big clue that made us jump to the conclusion that the restaurant would be opening sooner than later, but it didn’t stop there.
The patio area is already set with chairs and tables that mix up well with the overall atmosphere. Also, it's possible to spot a menu board out front ready to display the exquisite dishes that are going to be offered to their future guests. Pretty convincing clues, right?
Time to trust in the process
Now we can just relax and wait for the official opening date to surprise us, so get your bellies ready for this new experience that is coming at the one and only Disney World!
