When you book your next cruise, there is a good chance you receive a bonus credit that you might even not know about. If you do have it, you need to learn how to use it. I mean, we are talking about free credits in your account! Think about this like “Cruise Cash” that you can only use when you are on the ship.
How does it work?
Don’t worry, it’s common to get a little bit lost and have no idea you have credits in your account. We are to help you! Royal Caribbean guests can access their onboard credits via their cashless SeaPass account card when they are already aboard the ship. These credits automatically appear on the card, typically two or three days into the cruise.
One important thing is that they will deduct the credited amount from your balance as soon as your trip comes to an end. Make sure to use them!
The Credits can be applied to onboard purchases and reservations, and sometimes even before your ship's departure if you received it as part of a special offer.
It can be used for a variety of activities, like massages or shore excursions. If shopping is your thing, you can use them in stores from nautical attire to luxury watches in the Royal Shops.

Onboard credits can also be used at the Casino Royale. You can use them at Slot machines or use them in restaurants. How about trying the hibachi at Izumi or cocktails at Wonderland? You should always use your onboard credits since they will disappear and be carried by the wind once your trip is over.
