Last Friday, Royal Caribbean International President and CEO, Michael Bayley, just announced the official opening of the new Slide “Tailspin” at Perfect Day at CocoCay’s Thrill Waterpark, and we can’t wait to try it already!
Where can it be found?
This new attraction can be found right at the Splash Summit Tower and uses the same rafts as the Sling Shot family raft slide.
What to expect from the new attraction?
Groups of 2 to 4 guests will be able to enjoy this greenish new slide by being sent on a float that allows them to slide rapidly across the ride, entering a dark tube vividly illuminated that transports them into a whole new world (we are sure it feels like that with all the excitement you will find in here). There are some tight curves that will make you wish you had paid more attention to the Fast and Furious movies, so you could control this solo race better. You ready to feel the need for speed?
I love it! How much does it cost?
The price range depends on your ship of choice, but entering Thrill Waterpark can cost you anywhere from $89 to $169 per person. Heads up because to be admitted at the entrance, kids under the age of 14 need to be accompanied by an older guest who also has an admission ticket.
