Johnny Cash would have been proud of what Princess Cruises has in store
Do you love Country Music? How about singers like George Jones and Carrie Underwood? If so, we have good news for you! Princess Cruises is teaming up with the Academy of Country Music to bring a country music experience to passengers aboard the Regal Princess sailing from Galveston.
As announced in a recent press release, this collaboration will feature a series of live concerts as part of the ACM Live from the Red Barrel Lounge series.

These performances will take place during Caribbean cruises departing from Galveston between February 9 and March 17, 2025. So, if you're in Texas, get ready to grab your cowboy hat, your special leather boots, and hop on a cruise!
The lineup so far includes rising stars in country music, such as ACM Award nominee Kameron Marlowe, Tigirlily Gold (the ACM New Vocal Duo or Group of the Year), and Chapel Hart, known for their appearance on America's Got Talent. Do I know who they all are? Not really. Did I copy-paste the names from the official Princess Cruises press release? Maybe.
Throughout the series, six up-and-coming country music acts will perform two 45-minute concerts in the Princess Theater and interact with guests during Meet & Greet sessions. Get your cameras ready!

Highlighted performances include Drew Baldridge kicking off the series with an eight-night Western Caribbean cruise on February 9, Chapel Hart embarking on a six-night cruise on February 17, and Hannan Ellis performing during an eight-night cruise on February 23.
Tigirlily Gold will take the stage on the March 3 sailing, followed by Kelsey Hart on March 9, and Kameron Marlowe closing out the series on March 17.
I don’t have anything against country music. In fact, I like it and really enjoy some of Johnny Cash's big hits. Now, let’s wait and see when Princess Cruises will introduce “Metal Across the Sea” with special appearances from Metallica and Iron Maiden.
