Let's also not forget the magical and colorful touches that Disney brings through their incredibly talented collaborators and local artists that are helping to bring this paradise to life.
We can already imagine the final look for this beautiful island, but there was always a question coming back again and again: what will some of our favorite characters wear?

It's Fashion Week for Mickey and Minnie
The celebrated designer Theodore Elyett has created magic for all future guests of the Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point. Through many measurements, sketches and a brainstorm of wonderful ideas, the brand-new outfits for Mickey and Minnie in the Caribbean are coming to life.
Their new attires are even more magical than we could ever imagine. Thanks to the inspiration from the Bahamian vibes, especially the vibrant energy that characterizes the Junkanoo festival (the country's signature celebration), it will be certainly revived through these new clothing options for the cutest couple.
The creator of these masterpieces
Theodore Elyett, the famous Caribbean designer who grew up in Nassau, The Bahamas, is the ideal person for such a huge task. You may have seen some of his designs at Miss Universe contests, cover girls, incredible celebrities, and even brides (and so much more), and now he’s helping find the perfect merge between two magical places: the island and Walt Disney World. How amazing, right?
What can we expect?
In Theodor’s words, you can expect; “The beauty of Mickey and Minnie’s looks is that they are literally ‘Junkanoo Fun in the Sun’” and this is, because, “When you talk about the print, pattern, color, texture of Junkanoo, they’ve got that.”
We cannot wait to finally see these incredible new outfits on our favorite Disney characters of all time.
