Disney may be famous for their AMAZING and MAGICAL parks thanks to their numerous and awesome rides, entertainment, activities, dining, and shopping, but well, they won’t just stop offering all those in dry land. Disney actually expanded to the high seas some time ago, as they also allow guests to be in their HAPPIEST AND MAGICAL STATE anywhere in the world, no matter how old they are.
That’s why bringing your kids with you for a cruise on any of the Disney Cruise Line ships is a must. Aside from letting them feel the magic, they can also enjoy lots of perks, just like having access to youth clubs, which are organized by age range.
Speaking of youth clubs, Disney made some changes to them, specifically when it comes to age ranges.
Youth Clubs get younger
They will be changing the age range from 3 to 12 years old to 3 to 10 years old for Disney’s Oceaneer Club and Oceaneer Lab starting on the sailings that will depart on or after December 21st, 2023. Your kids will be able to enjoy themed play areas, character meet-and-greets, watch movies, and play video games.
But just in case you’re wondering, what about your children who are 11 or 12 years old? Well, don't worry, since they can still have fun and join the club for tweens, Edge, which is available for guests within the age range of 11 to 14. This club has beanbags, computers, video games and movies for your tween kids to enjoy!
These updates may or may not make your face or your kids’ face light up, especially if they like the Oceaneer Club and Oceaneer Lab even though they’re already tweens. But hey, always keeping an eye out for these clubs’ updates about the age range is important.
