Many travelers rather book their cruise vacation with enough time ahead (at least 6 months in advance) since it gives them enough time to prepare everything they will need for their amazing trip. It's also a very good strategy if you wish to get a lower price than usual.

Changes are a part of life, nature and Cruises too
Even though one may think that from the moment we book the trip nothing nothing will ever change, well, this isn't particular true. Unexpected changes can happen due to many variables, like a bad weather, for example.
Was it an easy decision? No, but it was needed
Celebrity Cruise Line found themselves obligated to contact every single guest who had already booked for the Celebrity Edge sailing that is going to take place on May,7th, 2025, and inform them of important itinerary changes.
On August 2023, Hawaii suffered a devastating wildfire catastrophe, which made the cruise line reconsider one of their main itineraries.
What has changed?
Instead of visiting Lahaina (Maui), the new itinerary has considered extending the scheduled stay at Kailua Kona (located in Hawaii too).
Guests are not too pleased about this notification and started asking if there may be another change, since there are still 18 months left before the official departure date, and a lot of things can happen in that “short” time.

Celebrity Cruise Line has always stood out for its wonderful service and excellent experience, and we understand that this situation is out of their control, making the decision justifiably.
We feel confident that, even though this change wasn’t considered at first, it won’t take way the great vacation that awaits passengers for 2025!
