Aren't all cruises supposed to be all-inclusive?
Yes, it's a little confusing to realize that Celebrity Cruises is not all-inclusive nowadays. For a good while, they really were and offered awesome deals to every passenger. Now, there are still things you need to pay for, even after acquiring your tickets and getting aboard one of their beautiful ships.
Things have changed.and not every single Celebrity Cruise is considered “All inclusive”. You still have the option to buy an upgrade to your cruise fare to include drinks and Wi-Fi. Of course, not everything will be included if you opt for this package, you will still need to pay for shore excursions and tips.
This pricing model was introduced in 2020, and it worked that way for two years, but then in 2022 the cruise line decided to reintroduce the “Cruise-only” fares.
Now the Cruise Line has removed the option to book Indulge and Elevate packages and, instead, they allow guests to upgrade individual elements of their cruise.
Don’t worry, you can still choose to pay for the “All Inclusive” upgrade, but only the basic one is available which includes classic drink packages and basic Wifi. Depending on your stateroom, you might get them included as part of a deal. Before October 2023, tips were included in your package, but that’s not the case anymore.
