Sandals Royal Bahamian offers a wide variety of room choices. Although it’s a compact resort, it still provides 33 different room options, including 8 Sandals Luxury Rooms, 10 Club Sandals Rooms, and 15 Butler Elite Suites. This is actually more than traditional Sandals resorts, many of which, especially the newer ones, have only about 3 Sandals Luxury Rooms. More room options is always good, as they offer choices to fit every budget.
The rooms at Sandals Royal Bahamian are pretty good, with most having undergone major renovations in 2022, giving them a bright and beautiful appearance. Some Club Sandals rooms offer swim-up pools, and many Butler Elite Suites feature private pools. Certain Butler Elite Suites also include a Mini-Cooper for exploring the island. Every Butler Elite Suite comes with private airport transfers to and from the resort.
Sandals Royal Bahamian’s rooms are divided into three distinct areas: the West Bay Building, the East Bay Building, and the Island Village. The first two areas resemble a traditional hotel, with many rooms located side by side, while the Island Village offers a more secluded and quiet atmosphere with cozy, charming cottages and buildings.
Now, let’s take a look at the starting prices for a couple spending one week at Sandals Royal Bahamian. The best time to visit this resort is from November to April to avoid rain, as bad weather can lead to the closure of the private island, Barefoot Cay. Note that all rooms are located on the mainland, so there aren’t any options for staying overnight on the private island.
As you can see, October offers some of the lowest rates at Sandals Royal Bahamian. However, if it rains, you may not be able to fully enjoy the resort, as the private island may be closed. December prices are also quite reasonable, so booking your vacation a year in advance can help secure the best rates.
Room Levels
Sandals Luxury
Good for: you are on a budget; you don’t plan to spend a lot of time in your room.
Price range: typically starting from $300 per guest/per night.
The name Sandals Luxury might be a bit misleading, as these are actually the budget-friendly rooms at the resort. Sandals Royal Bahamian offers a total of 8 Sandals Luxury rooms, more than most Sandals resorts. These rooms are simple and do not include any special or exclusive amenities, so don’t expect features like swim-up pools or soaking tubs. However, they are bright, clean, and recently updated.
Most Sandals Luxury rooms are located in the East Bay Building. Only one is in the Island Village: the Island Village Honeymoon Luxury Villa Room, with rates starting at $430 per guest, per night.
Club Sandals
Good for: you want a bit more luxury, you like the concierge perks offered.
Price range: typically starting from $330 per guest/per night.
The mid-term rooms for Sandals Royal Bahamian, which is actually quite luxurious. These rooms give you access to the Concierge perks, which include:
The Concierge Lounge: think of this one like those fancy airport lounges for first-class passengers. You get access to a place to relax, drink coffee, have a beer, and just enjoy your time. You can also check-in here and be directed to your room by a dedicated staff member.
Plush bathrobes: now you can feel all cozy when leaving the shower.
Special In-room bar: you have access to soda, wine, beer, juice, water, liqueur and can request specific alcoholic beverages.

Club Sandals rooms are very popular at Sandals, offering great perks and comfortable accommodations without the higher cost of a Butler Elite Suite. Sandals Royal Bahamian features 10 different Club Sandals room categories, with rooms located in both the East and West Bay Buildings and one in the Island Village. The Island Village room is the only Club Sandals option that includes an outdoor soaking tub.
Only one Club Sandals room features a semi-private swim-up pool: the “West Bay Swim-up Oversized Club Level Junior Suite” (pictured above), with rates starting at $530 per night, per guest.
Butler Elite Suites
Good for: you want luxury; you want someone to make reservations for you and bring meals to your room; you don’t mind paying more for top-tier quality rooms; you want a room that includes a Mini-Cooper.
Price range: typically starting from $430 per guest/per night.
This is it, this is for guests that want top-mega-ultra luxury and enjoy their vacation at the fullest. The Butler Elite package offers a plethora of perks. You'll enjoy specialized room service and have a dedicated butler at your service, handling reservations, delivering breakfast to your bed, scheduling appointments, and much more. Some Butler Suites also offer swim-up pools that serve 2-3 rooms only, and some rooms come with a private pool for you only.

Butler Elite suites are a very good option if you manage to book early to save some money. Some of these suites come with full living rooms and have a private swimming pool right outside their door, giving guests more luxury and privacy. Your personal bar is stocked with premium liqueurs and sparkling wines, and your butler can accommodate most alcoholic beverage requests.
Sandals Royal Bahamian offers 15 different Butler Elite Suites, an impressive number for any resort. These suites are located throughout the resort, including the West and East Bay Buildings and the Island Village. Every Butler Elite Suite includes a private airport transfer to and from the resort, either in a luxury car or a Rolls Royce. Now that’s a stylish way to start your vacation!
Depending on your chosen Butler Elite Suite, you may have access to a semi-private swim-up pool, a private pool, and/or a Mini-Cooper to explore beautiful locations like Nassau.

This suite is typically the second most affordable Butler Elite Suite at the resort, located in a secluded area, and it includes both a private pool and a Mini-Cooper.
