Beaches Ocho Rios Resort Has Closed

Important Update for Travelers

Beaches Ocho Rios was a top pick for an all-inclusive resort in Jamaica, with its own private beach, 22 acres of lush tropical grounds & fantastic unlimited dining options. Unfortunately, Beaches Ocho Rios closed on May 31, 2025 as the resort was available through a partnership with another company. That company decided to end their relationship with the Beaches brand.

Alternative Beaches Resorts Available

You're in luck! There are currently 2 other Beaches resorts you can visit today! One is located in Jamaica and the other in Turks and Caicos with 3 additional resorts coming in the next couple of years.

Currently Open Beaches Resorts:

• Beaches Negril - Located on Jamaica's famous seven-mile beach with a fantastic waterpark and all-inclusive activities for the whole family.
• Beaches Turks & Caicos - Spread across 12 miles of stunning beachfront with 10 pools, 21 gourmet restaurants and a 45,000 square-foot waterpark.

Coming Soon to the Beaches Resorts brand:

• Beaches Exuma Resort - Opening for bookings in late 2025, this resort will be the fourth Beaches property and the first of its kind in The Bahamas!
• Beaches Runaway Bay - This resort will feature around 400 suites and villas. Given the news for Ocho Rios, we expect development of this property to accelerate with a potential for our team to begin accepting reservations later in 2025.
• Beaches Barbados - The company will begin development late 2025 and this resort will offer 600 rooms with options ranging from normal accommodations all the way to multi-room suites with private oceanfront balconies.
